Easily the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. Everything that could go wrong did.
It all made for a very awkward meal and ruined our Saturday evening. The manager took some money off the bill at the end but didn't even apologise for everything. If you get the waiter with the manbun, I would ask for somebody else or be very clear, as obviously doesn't know how to take an order properly.
This is now the 2nd bad experience we have had here, last time late last year when our table wasn't ready and we had to sit in the cold for an hour waiting for it. Won't...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience, especially a unique type of pizza. First time seeing a pizza with 3 flavors on it, and it certainly hit the spot. The Italian-style cherry tomato and prosciutto pizza was quite nice, though the quality of the prosciutto could be slightly better. The sweetness of the cherry tomatoes stood out and provided a nice flavor that helped elevate the dish to the next level. The goat's cheese pizza was nice, but very rich and heavy with cheese. Paired with their chilli oil, it sparked a nice contrast and was very pleasing to the palate, though slightly heavy and not suitable for people who don't like cheese. The goat cheese, for some reason, was also slightly sweet, which was slightly weird. Lastly, the Spiced Slow Cooked Pulled Lamb with Mint | Sumac Yoghurt | Greek Peppers | Spinach | Pickled Onion was especially outstanding, it tasted amazing, and the flavorful lamb with heavy spices, as well as the acidity from the pickled onion, and the peppers, as well as the yogurt, provided that perfect contrast between acidity, richness, and spice, making it such a unique dish. This pizza store is absolutely amazing, with outstanding staff, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a pretty good price for the amount of portions you get. This was a great way to have dinner in Winchester....
Read moreWent for bottomless brunch to celebrate a birthday and the experience wasn’t that enjoyable. The first waiter we had was ok and friendly but when he went for his break another one took over. Not one single smile, looking over at us like he was looking down at us(sorry we were having fun) speaking to colleagues about us right in front of us which made us feel uncomfortable. if you are going to offer bottomless brunch you need to be prepared for laughter, some loud conversation if it’s a big group. And actually look like you want to be there, not making people feel uncomfortable. When the food came the pizzas were not good at all, the toppings were awful, and most were missing ingredients that were on the menu and the bottoms all burnt so we didn’t end up eating most of the pizza. One pizza had chilli’s covering the whole thing. We asked for some dip and were brought garlic butter which was then added to the bill. The conservatory window sills were very dirty and only one toilet for a whole restaurant ? The cocktails were very nice though. Maybe we just had bad luck with the rude staff on duty and the chef but the restaurant was empty so they should be grateful for our business . I wouldn’t recommend unless they change the...
