Bit of a chameleon this place. (Heswall) When the staff includes the mother of the manager service is miserable. On a freezing day the doors were wide open As i did not want to catch cold i closed them. This woman told me in no uncertain and very rude terms they must be open. Used covid as a poor excuse which was nonsense. She and her son, the manager? are not customer friendly at all. The other staff members are just great and can't be faulted. The drinks are fine but the non cake food is lacking and overpriced for the quality. The cake selection is good but well overpriced. With decent management from the top this place could increase profits greatly and give a much better customer experience. Having newspapers was a great customer draw but they no longer do it.
