Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wirral

Painfully slow service. The place wasn’t busy yet the queue of people who had actually paid for drinks was longer than those waiting to order. 7 tables were occupied so like I said it wasn’t busy. The girl making the drinks needs to learn to work at pace. Customers were extremely frustrated. All the available tables were strewn with dirty dishes. They weren’t understaffed as they had 4 staff members working. 2 stars as when we actually got our food & drinks it was enjoyable. Shame the customer service...

Ordered a large latte and the 'barista' just flung an espresso in the cup of warm milk in front of me at the till and that was that... That's was my latte... I don't know how, but it was so weak I could not even taste coffee. Took it back and he flung another espresso in and somehow, still, I could hardly taste coffee at all. At that point I gave up. It's not hard to make a decent cup of coffee and when you choose go to a coffee shop and pay nearly £5 for one, a decent coffee is what I expect...

I mainly get my Costa through Uber Eats and the staff always do an amazing job and go above and beyond despite it just being a mobile order! I always order my drinks with non dairy milk and the current deal includes a free mince pie. They included a vegan one instead of a regular one without me having to ask!
