The Rose and Crown Pub Wallasey — Restaurant in Wirral

Wouldn't give this place a one star but came here and got told to sit down and somebody will come over and take our food order. Waited for 15 minutes whilst staff just ran around talking amongst themselves. We went to the bar to get ignored so decided to walk out. The bar woman said is anything wrong totally not getting it as we walked out. Save your money and go somewhere you feel welcome with professional caring staff who want your money. I know people say 5 pounds get you a nice meal but does this give them the excuse to loose 30 to 40 pounds worth...

I am sorry to say. But our family had the worst Christmas dinner ever . Last year was perfect but this year we waited 2 hours to get srved. we did get a complementary drink. But hey its Christmas and most of our food was left on the plate. Shame cos it's a boss place. But we think you are too overworked for this day. maybe next year you should worry less about others and have yourselves a gr8 crimbo...

Feels more like a social club than it does a pub, it's most probably worthy of 4 stars when we aren't in a pandemic, but on our visit they were short of draught beer and Guinness and getting the attention of the staff from the main bar was a bit of an effort. Nxt time I'm in Liverpool will have to give the menu ago as the pictures...
