The Whiskey Rooms — Restaurant in Worthing

The guys that run this place are fab. I went for the first time last night. It was a quiet Weds evening in January. The music was off the charts in terms of giving the perfect ambience along with some really well thought out interior design choices. It’s a very cool place with a relaxed vibe (although it gets very busy over weekends and in season.)

They have over 300 types of Whisky and Whiskey, most from Scotland obviously, but the whole world is well represented. They have other drinks too, including draft beer, but there is no question that this place is all about Whisky/Whiskey. Both my friend and I loved the whiskies we had, we noted the very understated cool feel of the place, we liked the guys who run it, and their passion for whisky, and we both agreed that we need to make this place a regular addition to our lives.

We did not have food so I can’t really comment on that, we did have some bar nuts thought - lime and jalapeño style - and there were sensational. Very highly...

Have been wanting to visit for a while, but never seems open when I am in area, definitely an evening venue. Got there just in time for one drink before closing on Saturday night so sat out front in pretty area with benches, fairy lights. Extensive cocktail menu, deal on 2 of the same. Also saw large whiskey menu. Inside looked very cosy and busy. Some people eating pizza, but unclear if that was food available there, or from elsewhere as in boxes. I remember it as a clock shop and jewellers, they have retained some of the original signwriting outside and reflect that past in the decor. Didn't seem particularly disabled accessible, it is a cosy and old building, but I'm sure they may be happy to do what they can. Good eclectic mix of music playing and lovely friendly atmosphere. Cannot recommend the Whiskey Rooms enough. I celebrated my 30th birthday there this weekend after I arranged private hire and everything was perfect. The food spread was beautiful and super high quality, catering for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. They accommodated my crazy playlist, let me put up some of my own decorations and the bar staff are always so friendly and awesome and they make the best cocktails. Thank you so much for an amazing night, I'll never forget it and I know how awesome all of my guests thought the venue/staff/drinks/food were, too. Could not have chosen a better place to celebrate.
