Schnitzel & Co. — Restaurant in Worthing

I recently went on a coach trip to Worthing on Wednesday, 17th July, 2024. We went into this Cafe for a coffee. I have to say it wasn't a very good experience. I ordered 3 Americano coffees, one being decaff at, we assumed £2.60 each. I was charged £8.00, which was an overcharge of 20p, but was then told that decaff is 10p extra. I expressed my surprise as I have never been charged extra for decaff but the girl said rather insolently that they do. I then pointed out I had still been overcharged by 10p. On reflection I don't think the girl was very adept with the till as she did seem to struggle with it and couldn't open it to get the 10p out. My concern is that if other customers are being overcharged because if this girl's inexperience or lack of training, the Cafe are going to do very nicely. I did say to the girl that the extra 10p for decaff should be stated on their menu. She told me not to point my finger when I made this statement for which I apologized. As I walked away i heard her make a remark to her colleague about the fact that it was all for 10p. Our coffees were delivered and after quite some considerable time i saw the girl walk towards me with a menu, opened it in front of me and pointed to very small print that stated extra charge for decaff, but also said to me, 'if you can read'. My mistake I admit but she continued to argue and I had to tell her to stop. We go on coach trips to Worthing every now and again but if and when the next one is arranged by our club again I shall suggest that this Cafe is given...

I recently visited this amazing coffee shop and had an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was cozy and charming, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I ordered an ice latte, a walnut cake, and a toast, and let me tell you, I was blown away by the quality and taste of everything. The ice latte was perfectly brewed, with just the right balance of espresso and milk. It was the perfect refreshing drink for a warm day.

The walnut cake was absolutely divine. It was moist, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The walnuts added a nice crunch and complemented the cake perfectly.

Lastly, the toast was simple but delicious. It was perfectly toasted and served with a side of chips.

Overall, I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, delicious coffee, and mouth-watering treats. I can't wait to come back and try some of their own...

Absolutely amazing cafe! Looks unassuming from the outside looks are very deceptive! There a wide range of food and drink at very accessible price points. Ranges from traditional British, high end modern British and fabulous Turkish food. I had the Turkish breakfast which was huge, varied and delicious. The interior is very clean and comfortable with a choice of tables and comfy armchairs or sofas.
