Not a great place to eat. The restaurant was not that busy, it was 4pm on a weekday, the drive through and restaurant were not busy. The tables and seats were mostly empty, yet they were dirty. Had to try 4 different tables before found one acceptable. When I say dirty, I'm not being picky, the tables and even the seats were covered in ketchup etc. The service was really slow unless you were a just eats or similar driver. It took 25 minutes to get 2 drinks and 2 burgers. When we did get the food, it was cold, the fries and burgers were luke warm and the coffee had a couple of penguins swimming in it. Took it back to the counter to exchange, and unbelievably they fetched a manager who felt the outside of the bag and said " its warm still, the food is freshly cooked", I made them open the bag and look properly and gave them a coffee cup to try, which was stone cold. " oh, i can exchange the coffee for you". Unbelievable, we eventually got the order exchanged and even then it wasnt great. No apology, or I'll bring it over to your table for you, had to wait another 10 minutes at the counter to get it. We could here other customers complaing too, one lady had been waiting for a drive through order for 20 minutes, when she got it most of it was loose in the bag, the fries had poured out and the wrapping on the burgers was undone so had gone everywhere, the response from the manager was " well they do come undone". TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I suggest if you do have to eat here, you sit at your table or in your car and order through deliveroo and get it delivered to you there, it will be quicker. Ohhh yes, finally.... to all the delivery drivers YES, THE MASK RULES DO APPLY TO YOU TOO, YOUR NOT EATING SO DONT ALL STAND THERE TOGETHER CHATTING NEXT TO CUSTOMERS WITHOUT WEARING A MASK...OHHH YES AND THE SIGN ON THE PARKING SPACE THAT LOOKS LIKE A MAN ON A SPACE HOPPER IS A DISABLED SPACE, NOT A UBER EATS DEDICATED COLLECTION POINT. HAVE SOME...
Read moreI’m ngl the food is always cold and stale, and you nearly always get told to park at the front when there’s no where to park, so you’re blocking people or parking in areas you should and everyone ends up mad. I understand you can’t physically make the car park bigger, but I’m sure everyone else, myself included would rather wait in the queue at the windows instead. I get told to park up even when it’s not that busy, the manager needs to sort this out it’s not working and people are getting fines.
Also I do the food for thoughts survey on the receipts to get the Big Mac n medium fries for 2.99 but every single time at ONLY this Maccies the receipts are always printed bad so you can NEVER read the code to get the discount. It’s a good deal as a treat with the cost of living so it’s disappointing you can never get one at this store.
I know it’s not a nice job and some of the staff are really nice some are rude is what it is in retail, but I’m not blaming the staff it’s the food and everything else that’s wrong with this place, it’s honestly shocking quality every time.
Honestly if you want to enjoy your Maccies go 10 mins down the road to the one at Worcester road instead, the food is nearly always nice and hot, and their receipts are always printed clear plus plenty of parking and waiting bays and they have click and collect bays...
Read moreI placed an order on the Macdonald's web site after a lot of messing around due to a lot of items that for some reason couldn't be delivered therefore having to keep changing the order( Mac chicken sandwich not available for delivering?). When the order came delivered by Uber eats I found that from my £33.00 order all I got was 4 portions of fries and 3 drink ( but at least they remembered to put the dips in for a change). I phone the branch at weavers warf only to be told to contact Uber eats as they must of forgot to give us a bag. We tried but we're getting nowhere. I phoned the branch again only to be told that they can't help as it's down to Uber. I then saw that the list of content was on the side of the bags , which proves that it wasn't the fault of the Uber driver as they are not the ones that pack the bags. I then had to driver down to the branch and point this out,at this point the lady agreed with me and processed the order again and finally I had our food by this point it was almost 10pm and my wife and daughter were now not that hungry. The whole point of ordering online is so that when I have come home after work that I wouldn't have to go out again but due to a incompetent staff member or members I found myself with a upset family and a trip...
