I went here today and was massively impressed with the venue itself it has a front with a few tables near thebtoad but also a huge back garden away from the road with big comfy seating and covered so no worries about the rain.

Breakfast menu was Brill- they had normal standard breakfast but also avocado, poached eggs and smoke salmon which was delicious and good portion.

Best breakfast I've had in the area and really friendly attentive service and fresh OJ!

They also do lunch and dinner at specific times (check their Facebook page) that looked really good not too large a menu but good meal choices and all freshly cooked

I'll be coming back in the evening and at lunch one day with my wife

We waited for almost an hour for some basic meals and after politely asking where our food was, we were told there had been a queue and that ours would be started ‘now’ (35 minutes after ordering as soon as the kitchen opened). It was necessary to ask as my step dad has diabetes and his blood sugars were dropping drastically. Once the food arrived, it was tasty enough but no one came to check if everything was ok or if we needed anything. I then had to go back to the bar to ask for some sauce as this wasn’t offered or available and before I could finish my sentence, the waitress stormed off and plonked one singular pot of sauce on the table and left before I was able to ask for more (there was 4 of us). The wait is one thing but the attitude of the waitress was not acceptable and is the reason for leaving...

Mimi's welcomed four of us for supper without a reservation. We ate in the fresh air at a rough hewn table and seats provided out back.Table 5 is the one to ask for. Attentive staff, with sensible Covid-19 protocols in place. We chose pizza with ice cream and frozen berries to follow. The wood-fired oven produced thin, crisp and well-dressed pizzas.
