What a great venue for a celebration of any kind (a wedding reception we attended ) Spencer the landlord couldn't do enough for us and others who attended so much so we went back and had an awesome Sunday lunch in theire new resteraunt luckily enough for us that on the day we went they had introduced the lamb shanks to the Sunday roast menu it was cooked to perfection with all the trimmings and on a stunning sunny day that allowed us to have beers outside afterwards after complimenting him and his wife on such a great location and food they mentioned about upstairs so when we finished Spencer and his wife still had time to show us the rooms which couldn't have been any better and put together to an extremely high standard so much so we booked there and then for our up and coming anniversary in November whilst booking Spencer mentioned they had just had a Google photographer in to shoot a 360 ° GOOGLE VIRTUAL TOUR that meant anyone looking at there photos section on the business listing page could now walk through from top to bottom of this fantastic little hidden gem springs with the panoramic views of canal boats moored up one side to the beautiful river Severn the other side being someone who has grown up with holidays up and down the Severn from camping with tents to B&B,s to lodges to hotels this place is a must ....cant wait for our 3 days in...

I held my 50th birthday party here on Saturday and stayed the night after the party had finished, the venue is very impressive, it has a VIP area upstairs with comfortable seating that overlooks downstairs, fab dance floor and ample seating, two bars one for the venue and a smaller one for regulars to use when private parties are using the venue. They also have live music/ bands on a Friday and Saturday night depending on private parties, chilled acoustic sets on a Sunday afternoon. The owners Nanette and Spencer are a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming, the buffet I had was delicious and plentiful, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble, they also do Sunday lunches which I wholeheartedly recommend. I can’t recommend The Wharf highly enough. Spencer and Nanette are very professional and they are obviously very good at what they do as they make it all look like a breeze! All our requests for our party were met with no problems at all and their suggestions and recommendations were very helpful. All the guests who hadn’t been there before commented on what a wonderful venue it was and how they felt like they were much further away from home! The food was great although I didn’t get to eat a crumb as I was too busy having a good time! There were feel good vibes the whole time, even when we’d practically out stayed our welcome by 1am!
