5 being the highest score, this place is at least a 10 - it deserves nothing less than double the possible score. The prices are beyond affordable and the quality of the food was just chef's kiss. I went around 5pm today with my husband and son, it was our first time. The owner was very kind & welcoming, he made us feel right at home. The menu has something for everyone and THEN some, there were the perfect amount of choices for someone who craves an adventure or the basics. EVERYTHING sounded so good...we couldn't just choose one thing, all 3 of us had to try a burger AND a hotdog. Serving time was impressive and the dine-in area was cute and clean - really gives you that good ol' day eat-in experience. My son devoured every bit of his cheeseburger & Ragin' Cajun Dog almost just as fast as he was served! He absolutely LOVED it! My husband did the same with his Ragin' Cajun Dog. I took one small taste of my Chili Dog and wanted to gobble it up on the spot. Unfortunately, my teeth had other plans. Needless to say, by the time we got in the car - I had already dug out my hotdog and swallowed it down before we took our 2nd turn from the building. Exquisite. I moved on to the burger immediately after and that was another wonderful experience. The all beef patty tasted exactly how smoked patty smells. Needless to say, we will be back. My husband and I are already planning out our next order! Thank You, Sir, for the amazing food and...
Read moreWe went on a Tuesday so it was pretty quiet. We decided to use their kiosk to order. It was very easy to use. The only real challenge was that we had never been there before so we weren’t quite sure about which hot dogs to order. We just decided to trust the process and get some Seattle dogs and a Chicago dog. I also ordered clam chowder, chips, a drink, and ice cream. It was cool that we got to self serve the chips, drinks, and ice cream because we got to nibble while we waited for the hot food. There is an option to order at the counter. But when in Rome, right? Our food did take a little longer to arrive but I think that’s because they made it fresh. They use Nathan’s all beef hot dogs and they are good. The Seattle dog is known for its cream cheese and caramelized onions. It did not disappoint! The cream cheese melts so perfectly! The Chicago dog could give any South Size establishment a run for its money. If you know you know. Also, the onions rings are damn near perfect! The breading is really light and crispy. I was not sure what to expect from the clam chowder. The consistency was great, not too thick and not too runny. It was also loaded with clams! I appreciated that they had diet sodas because I was overdoing it with the other treats. The service was great. The cook was also serving. He was really friendly and made us feel welcome. I just moved here so I really appreciate it. Will definitely come back and try...
Read moreThe place was empty and didn't look open but when walking to my appointment I noticed there was a gentleman behind the counter. I thought to myself, let's give this guy some business. About 10 minutes later I walk in and a lady is being helped at the counter, she turns and says how good their food is. After a couple of minutes, waiting for them to finish their transaction, the gentleman makes eye contact with me but takes his time and doesn't say anything to me as if he didn't want to serve me. So as the lady leaves the counter, the guy looks at me and says I'll be with you in a minute. He then leisurely walks to the back, puts on a pair of gloves and starts cooking, just leaving me there hanging. At this point I had already been waiting close to 5 minutes and realized he had no intention of helping me. No longer was I feeling bad for this empty establishment I walked past shortly before. I've never had a restaurant or eatery blatantly ignore me in...
