5th visit- if this had been my first visit, I would never come back again. We ordered ahead on the app and waited in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. When we finally got to the window, our order was all wrong. The coffee hadn't even been made yet and she was ready to send us on our way. We had to ask several times for items we had ordered to the point we just canceled and asked for a refund because it was taking so long. The coffee we did get tasted like water. I hope this is just a fluke and an off morning. I'll give it another shot but I definitely won't order through the app. We saw people come in, get served, eat, and leave before we even got through the line for pickup. Absolutely terrible service.
Update: I have visited 3 times and it has been really good. The service is wonderful. I absolutely recommend the Apple Pie Latte. The breakfast sandwiches are good! I also heard them say that if you don't like your drink you can return it and request something different.
Original post: This was our first time visiting. The coffee did not have a strong flavor. My latte tasted more like water/milk than a coffee drink. The house coffee was similar. The cinnamon roll was fantastic and the lemon seashell was good. The labels on the pastries were wrong so I thought I was buying something else but it was no big deal. The waffle was crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The bacon could have been cooked a little longer. Overall the vibe is very cute. There's a book nook and seating on wooden chairs. There's a thermos water refill near the back and a drive-thru for convenience. The staff was very kind and helpful despite a very busy line. I'll be back to give the coffee another shot and the breakfast sandwiches also...
Read moreI had high hopes for this coffee shop but I'm honestly disappointed. The customer service was the first thing that threw me. I was greeted when I entered the establishment from a person that I couldn't see immediately. I walked up to the counter to read the menu and the person behind the counter was not engaging nor helpful. I was asking questions about what is vegan-friendly and the person wasn't sure and did check a label and then went back to whatever they were doing on their phone. I found that to be quite rude because I was still standing there asking questions about various items on the menu. No suggestions or guidance toward what would be enjoyable. I didn't see anything on the menu vegan friendly. It is 2025 come on…if you can cater to gluten free, I feel there can be vegan options but MORE so it was the customer service that left me even more disappointed. I felt like the worker could care less I was standing there, their phone was more important. I am local and at this point I would rather go to the city and just get a couple of coffee drinks and wait until the next time I'm in the city vs this place. Customer service will always be key, especially on ones first visit. I could appreciate your book...
Read moreI feel deceived by the reviews, but sometimes you need to experience things for yourself to make your own assessment.
So my take of this place, it’s a local mom/pop cafe that mimics the likes of Dunkin Donuts but it has the vibes and feel of a cozy, welcoming, local coffee shop. Customer Service is friendly and there are many options to choose from from drinks to hot sandwiches.
When I came here I thought my breakfast sandwich would be made on a grill, however it was assembled and microwaved. The double egg patty was not my vibe at all. They originally made an error and gave me the wrong sandwich and quickly corrected it, no big deal.
My caramel frappe had no flavor and I had a hard time drinking it maybe the slimness of the straw or it wasn’t blended throughly for consumption.
I got pastries, that I believe are purchased in bulk and resold, because they were not homemade in flavor or taste. I got the oatmeal cookies and chocolate cake pops. I wish it would have said it was chocolate, but because they were decorated, I couldn’t tell. But, that’s my fault, I should have asked. I’m not a fan of chocolate cake overall.
I guess the locals love it, but for me I was...
