Slooooooow. I went 3/19 somewhere between 1 and 2 and there was maybe 9 other people inside, families and one of the families already had their items. I waited about 15-20 minutes for a snow cone. Blue raspberry, cream and nerds. As I was waiting two people went through drive through (idk what they got but just to show a time frame). A girl at the register even asked me if I was ready to order, about 15 minutes after I already ordered. That's awkward, I allllmost thought I was forgotten about when finally my order was given to me. They were fully staffed from what I could tell from the..7 or so bodies that were buzzing around. I really think mine went forgotten until someone mentioned I was just standing around. The snow cone was really good, soft ice and they layered the toppings throughout instead of just piling on top so while I had to wait a long time it was good. For a little over $6 for a "regular", which was pretty big imo. It's the closest, if not only place on north side close to Judge Ely to get a snow cone besides that cajun cones place in the United parking lot ,(eww..) and driving down to Ambler to show cones would just take the same amount of time as if I just waited here. I'll definitely give it another chance because gas is expensive, I'm pregnant and really enjoy treats like they sell. Let's see if next time I go I can get a snow cone in under 10 minutes 🤞🏾
Edit: returned a number of times and went back inside once and they got me my order quickly...
Read moreDELICIOUS! Best snow cone place ever! Me and my uncle were on a shopping excursion (shocker) and we were exhausted by the time it was all over with. I was so ready to go home but my uncle insisted he wanted a treat before we left town. I decided we’d go to Bahama bucks for some amazing shaved ice. My uncle was so confused when there was all kinds of beach pictures in there. He was asking the workers why in the world would they put beach pictures in a place like Abilene tx where there’s nothing but a pool to look at. After that embarrassing conversation was over with one of the employees, we ordered a snow cone. I got my usual sour grape with sour spray (it’s the best). My uncle was wanting something a little spicy, sweet, and sour. So they made him a special one. He was coughing for hours and couldn’t stop gagging the whole way home. He was so mad at them. It’s an amazing place just don’t let them make you a...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite snow cone places period. The ice has a very soft and creamy texture, and the flavors are very rich and deep. But it doesn't stop there they also have toppings to take your normal snow cone experience up a notch and most of the time the toppings aren't just on the top, but layered into the snow cone itself. Oh and they look fabulous too! I highly recommend the Blue Coconut, I don't even usually like coconut but this has a delicious nutty quality to it that I have never experienced in a coconut drink. I keep calling this place a snow cone place, but really this place is on a whole different level than most snow cone places. Go there, and get some and you'll understand...
