Started going here when it opened for the first few months. The last 2 months or so the portions of the meat on the sandwich kept decreasing. Last straw for me was I ordered a roasted turkey small sub and I measured the meat with the ruler it was less than 1/4 inch. Vegetables lacking in that and the Italian as well I ordered. There was slightly more meat on the Italian but nowhere near the $10+ worth on a small sub. Mostly bread, light toppings as well. Like they’re being told to measure like Subway. Small meatball also went from having 2 meatballs on each half to just 3 total now the past 4 times I was there. One cut in half in the middle to make it look like something. These sandwiches looked like Subway. On Reddit some say they’re isn’t like this and some are. Guess it depends on how they are trained and how much food costs they are looking to save. I had high hopes here coming from New Jersey. The people are awesome the atmosphere is similar to Jersey Mikes but alas, I can no longer justify paying these prices for small portions. I sent feedback every single time I went via the surveys telling them this. Never got a response and instead of getting better it got worse. Until they lower prices or commit to correct prep and portions relative to the price point, I will not be going back. Had so much potential in the sub desert that is...

I had the Cole Turkey, it was amazing. Not plain deli meat, but real roasted turkey. The Coleslaw is fantastic, really elevated the sandwich. Their bread is better than any of the other sandwich shops in town. I am a Picky eater and this was hands down the best Sandwich Shop Sandwich I have ever had, including Which Wich, Jason's, McAlisters, Bogie's, you name it, this beat it. Everyone complaining about wait times, calm down. This is a new place in Abilene, you should realize how swamped they are! Despite that, the sandwiches were amazing! My co-workers had the Capastrami and said it was the Best Pastrami sandwich outside of New York City. And specifically to the guy who said "lies on website about having gluten free bread" I do not see anywhere on Capriotti's website or menu that they have gluten free bread. Vegetarian options yes. But Gluten Free is not the same as Vegetarian. So, can't put much stock in...

I was recommended this place by a few people so had so decided to come out of my way to try it man how disappointed when I came in to order only a couple people who already had there food so I placed my order told them no lettuce, tomato or onions at first glance the sandwich looked good then took a bite to realize there were onions I am not usually a big cold cut person but when no body else in the store there no reason not to listen or follow instructions the atmosphere was dull and the worker really seemed not interested in helping since it was my first time won’t be back usually would give another chance but if you can mess my order up with nobody inside then I don’t hold high hopes for a second chance. Learn to listen and read you had to read to get the job read to get the order done right because I wasted $28 dollars for it to go...

I tried Caprioti's a week ago; I ordered a medium-grilled Italian; it was delicious, but I only ate half since it was huge. Today, I checked their website and found four sandwich options that caught my attention: Homemade turkey, classic Italian, homemade tuna, and vegetarian cheese stake. So, I went to the shop and tried the small portion of the homemade turkey and the classic Italian. My favorite was the classic Italian; it is served with fresh vegetables and the perfect portion of meat. I requested some pepper relish, which elevates the sandwich to another dimension. This place is unlike Jimmy Johns or Subway; they have a distinctive flavor. Also, customer service is probably the best part of eating at Caprioti's. Trina, the main cashier, is the best: Always attentive, calling you by your name with a contagious smile.

Pros: Customer service was good. Received our order within the time we were told. Fries were probably the best thing out of this meal. Cons: Ordered a sandwich with no tomatoes (only thing I removed) and peppers on the side. Sandwich came out with tomato (ok, not the end of the world), and I didn’t receive the side of peppers. The sandwiches look nothing like the photos. These photos show a sandwich packed with meat and ingredients. On the contrary, I was given a loaf of bread (reference photo) with a side of fries. I was completely underwhelmed.

We tried Capriotti's for the 1st time. We ordered the medium Wagyu french dip. Note that a large is 18 inches! The sandwich came out fairly quickly even though pretty busy. It's was a nice portion for the two of us. (2 for me 1 for her.) The bread is a bit dry, but the au jou helped. I would suggest that they offer a horseradish or Dijon mustard (which isn't offered as a condiment.) All in all a good sandwich. Listen carefully for your order as it's rather noisy. I'll look forward to trying another one soon.
