I called in my order at 7:48 p.m. to the call center. I left my house at 8:35 p.m. because the call center lady Laura said it would take approximately 30 minutes to be ready. Arrived at the Restaurant at 8:52 p.m. and called to advise them I was there in the #3 space. I told the young girl that answered the phone I told my name, that I was there to pick up my order and I was in the #3 space. She abruptly said okay when your orders ready I'll bring it out and hung up the phone. I called back at 9:13 p.m. informing the same girl I have been waiting here 30 minutes for my order. She said what was your name again? I told her and she said okay I'll bring it right out. She brought out my order and I informed her again I had been waiting there 30 minutes. She said they had just barely got it ready and walked off. I look through my order and everything was cold. Also, I did not have the ice cream for my peach cobbler. I immediately went into the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I told the manager everything that had happened and that I was not pleased with the service. She said they would remake my order it'll be ready in approximately 5 minutes. The order was ready a little under 10 minutes. She tried to blame the call center for the mistake and I told her to call center lady did an excellent job and was very professional, the mistake was not the call center. Why was waiting another lady came in and they had failed to put a chicken fried steak in her order. Also, the manager had made the comment there were several take out orders that haven't been picked up, (they keep them on the front counter not warmed, under air conditioning and public contact), the young girl I dealt with commented said "yea, I'm hoping they don't pick them up." So I guess the staff eats your food if you run late picking it up! Very unprofessional! There was only two other sets of patrons in the restaurant at the time they had full staff of wait staff and kitchen staff at the time. I fail to understand why they could not cover the orders. I understand they probably had several takeout orders but with full wait staff and full kitchen staff that should have not been a problem with only had two sets of patrons in the restaurant when normally you would have a full restaurant and take-out orders. I do not feel that the management staff handled the staff correctly last night. After waiting over 45 minutes, I feel an investigation or corrective action needs to be taken. This isn't my first time at this restaurant and previously it's been wonderful but I will not be going back. I will patronize other restaurants in town that value...
Read moreEntered a the restaurant during a very slow period. I asked if there was a bar where I could have a glass of wine while I make a to go order. The hostess with the green hair explained they didn't have a bar. I said, "ok. I'll just dine in with a glass of wine while I wait for my to go order. She tells me to wait while she asks if it's allowed. I am then sent to the to go counter. I tell her the same thing and she tells me to wait while she asks the manager. He walks out, but doesn't say anything to me. She comes back and says, "You can't drink it in the car....... I just wanted a meal and a drink. She then sends me back to the hostess. The hostess takes me to an empty room segregated from the others. I didn't want that table. So I told her I'll just take a both. It's been 45mins. I've seen everyone come in and receive their drinks and meal and not I didn't get anything. It's two separate transactions. I mention that. Dine in and to go. I called for the manager and I had to explain the concept......to the manager.... Are they being hateful or incompetent??? I've never had such a hard time with such a simple request. I just now, 1hr later, received my wine and there's lipstick on the cup........what is happening here??? I'm afraid to eat the food. If I leave now will they tackle me...call the cops.... I'm not sure what to expect, but I know for sure everyone should beware of the cleanliness of this establishment. I don't argue with ppl who work around my food, because they'll do thing's to it. Here they don't care. You'll catch that Salmonella anyway. I'm just leaving now with my order. I cancelled the wine. It's officially been 1hr 30mins. Had a long day at work. Just wanted a decent meal and a...
