I have been a loyal HTeaO junkie since they opened in Abilene. Their flavors a great but their customer service is going down hill fast. Lately, the lack of professionalism has been a common feature of this location. I go on a daily basis, so I figured the staff was having off days, and that it would get better. I was wrong. The two individuals that I had contact with at the window were very unkind and indifferent when I asked why my drinks were only 3/4 full. A woman whose named started with an M told me that because I didn't get ice, that's what I get. I was confused because I get multiple drinks without ice everyday with HTeaO. I was genuinely confused.
The second incident was when I made an order for about $15 worth of drinks for myself and some coworkers. I had a short lunch but I chose to drive the distance from base because I really like their coffee. I handed the cashier a hundred dollar bill and she abruptly stopped me and said she can't take the money. She asked me for a card and I told her I didn't have one (I left it in my bag at work). She abruptly shuts the window and ignored me while I sat there trying to understand if she was going to communicate more about why she can't take the money further... I assume she didn't have change, but she didn't say anything. After 3 or 4 minutes, I left so I didn't hold others up in line.
The third time, I asked them if they do military discount because I had never asked before. The woman rolled her eyes and said, "No. You can get the discount during happy hour just like everyone else." I said nothing and drove away. I don't expect a discount, I was just curious.    Read moreUPDATED TO ADD: I will definitely not be returning. The âGENERAL MANAGERâ confronted me at the drive thru asking me if I needed anything and is everything ok. So I proceeded to tell this person what was wrong and they said âoperations havenât changed and tea hasnât changedâ there was no apology. There was nothing. Just an attitude and as usual from this manager, no consideration and her âcustomer is always wrong!â
While I have loved this company for YEARS. Been coming since opening. Service has gone down. Management isn't great. Tea quality has gone down. Like THOUSANDS of dollars spent at this place in one year.
Aside from this, there is a day of snow on 01/09/2025 and I called to ask if the store was open. They were. Go after work to get a tea, literally 10 cars. Waiting. Waiting. Drive through and parked. No signs nothing to indicate the store wasn't open. Probably will not be returning....
   Read moreWent there yesterday and decided to go inside instead of the drive-thru. Nowhere to park on the property. All of the spaces against the bldg were taken, which aren't many, and the ENTIRE parking area the east edge of the lot was being taken up by a food trailer plus the big white Dodge truck that was pulling it. I think there's maybe 6 to 7 spaces?? So I decided I park on the street behind the trailer and a guy on a chopper pulled up right behind the food trailer (on the street where I was headed) with a gallon of milk and went into the trailer!
