I have never been so disappointed about seafood in my life. I had been craving Crab for weeks and saved up money for me and my fiancee to have a date there. We spent around $70 which would've been totally acceptable had it not been downright awful. I ordered a cheese crab bake thing and my fiancee ordered filet mignon. I also wanted some crab legs as well so I paid around 10 dollars for them which again wouldve been fine however when they came out they were small, definitely not fresh, and too soft to crack open but too hard to open without a tool so basically it took me about thirty minutes to extract all the meat out of them (which was about a tablespoon full) and when I finally ate it the flavor wasnt even there. Who knows how old they were. The crab bake was fine but definitely not worth anywhere what I paid for it, huge disappointment. My fiancee's steak came out raw in the middle, had to have it sent back to be cooked longer, 30 minutes later it comes out still raw. They give us a free drink to make up for the long wait time and terrible food, but quite honestly no drink is worth 70 dollars. The appetizer my fiancee got by the way (cheese sticks) was literally the quality of a frozen kids meal (one of the kid cuisine ones) and even the bread was overcooked. Judging by the empty parking lot I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no one else likes this place either. Please dont go, do yourself a favor and pick literally any...
Read moreRED LOBSTER!!! Loved it great atmosphere, food, and service. I got tired of catering uncle BooBoo his usual Friday night Golden Corral so I told him we were going to red lobster. The only thing that got him in the door was that I told him there was actual giant red lobsters. As we checked in uncle was taking a look at those lobsters and decided he wanted more than a look… lucky for me the manager was right there and asked him to quit sticking his hand in the water. We got seated instantly which was nice. Uncle said he had to go wash his hands from petting the lobsters but I stayed at the booth… that’s when it all began. I felt a cool breeze blowing on me behind me. I figured the AC must have kicked on but no. Uncle came back and informed me a weird man with a mustache was hiding behind the fake plant behind me. I turned and there he was. I about screamed. Uncle found it amusing but I did not. The man then ran off into the bathroom, when uncle ran off and dragged him out of there. Uncle and the man talked all night long, uncle said it was his life long friend. Right as our food came out the man decided to take a shrimp piece from uncles plate… that was a mistake for that guy. Uncle punched and kicked him and told him they would never speak again. A crowd started to form and my embarrassment grew. I pulled uncle out of the restaurant and we just left. It was a long night, but we...
Read moreRed Lobster is a bit spendy but rarely disappoints! Everybody knows their biscuits are great and if Lobsterfest happens to coincide with my birthday then obviously I have to get lobster… if you’re ordering lobster might as well go all the way and make it surf n turf! The sirloin was perfectly medium-well (just slightly pink throughout) and the lobster, broccoli and buttery baked potato were all excellent! Jumbo Coconut Shrimp is always a win with the Piña Colada Sauce as is the Lobster Pizza and the Clam Chowder (get a bowl not a cup) but save room (and money) for dessert… can’t go wrong with the Brownie Overboard or the Chocolate Wave! $8 might seem a little steep but they’re pretty big and really good! They used to give you one for free on your birthday but now it’s a free sundae (2 scoops with chocolate and caramel… can’t beat free)! Mellisa was our excellent and super friendly waitress and it’s a typical Red Lobster… classy enough but pretty chill with comfy chairs, soft music and really pretty coastal pictures all around, actual metal utensils and good food served on hot or cold plates! They’re open until 9 or 10 and have delivery if there’s a seafood...
