Subway — Restaurant in Abilene

My daughter and I were in line buying sandwiches, and she said she was paying for herself, and for her brothers and her father and I a sandwich. I told her thank you, then told the lady on staff that my sons would split a footlong 3 ways, and my husband and I were going to split a wrap. My daughter finished up her sandwich, and paid for the whole thing, and I told the lady the wrap was going to have an added guacamole, and the spicy Italian was going to have an added bacon, so be sure to charge extra. She said she couldn't because it was already paid for. My daughter said she could buy a cookie, and told her just to add bacon to the tab. The lady said there was no button for that, and didn't add the bacon. There was bacon, infront of her, we tried to pay her to put it on the sandwich, but she refused, because she didn't know how to ring it up. We were willing to purchase more items, just to get her to put bacon on my son's sandwich, but was turned down. Came in at about 1230am and before even entering the door the short Hispanic man in glasses was shaking his head in frustration (not the first time hes done this when we come in late after work). We were told "I aint got no bread" before we were even greeted. I asked how long until bread was done and he said about 5 more minutes to bake and then an entire hour to cool. So I asked if he had flatbread and he said no and I COULD SEE THE FLATBREAD. I understood at this point he didnt want to work for some reason so through his stuttering excuses and half explanations we walked out. The store was clean and service was prompt and friendly. I think we were there at an off-hour so there weren't other people in the store. They didn't have the Italian herbs and cheese bread that I wanted, but otherwise we got exactly what we ordered and it was very tasty.

I've seen several reviewers state that their order was not prepared as requested. The best way to avoid this is to park your car and go into the store.
