Rendezvous International Café — Restaurant in Abingdon

A fun little find in Abingdon that serves my favorite type of coffee, Lavazza, and has several food options.

My family and I visited Abingdon from Seattle recently and we always keep a look out for fun coffee shops in our travels. This place fit the bill. During our week stay we visited almost every single day. The cold brew was smooth and light; the americano was a lighter roast; the caramel macchioto was fabulous though more like a desert than what one finds at Starbucks; and the boba teas were great!

One breakfast, I had the BLT which is more like a BLT salad ala chicken salad. Sounds funky but it was really good. I also tried the Lox bagel which was decent. The crepes were my favorite though. I tried the Greek crepe that was fun and super yummy and the sweet crepes were equally delicious.

We did not try them, but they also have several bakery items and cold stone icecream.

There was plenty of seating when we visited, though Saturday was definitely the most busy. They have free wifi and if I lived in Abingdon, it would definitely be my go-to for some coffee and work.

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good coffee just in time. The atmosphere inside this coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Truly amazing! Thank you so much, guys!

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. The barista was so friendly and pleasant to talk and he took the time to explain the different coffee options and make recommendations based on my preferences.

I ordered a latte and was impressed by the quality of the coffee and the latte art skill of the barista. The latte was perfectly balanced and had a rich, creamy texture. I also tried one of their cream cheese danish pastries, which was fresh and delicious.

Overall, I highly recommend rendezvous cafe to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and the quality of the coffee and food is top-notch. I will definitely...

We placed an order of two drinks and two crepes at 9:40am. At 10:20 I had to go inside and order a second round of drinks as our food still hasn't arrived. He said it'd be soon. We watched people who arrived well after we had ordered get their food, have time to eat and leave. At 10:25 when we got our second round of drinks we still hadn't gotten our food. It finally arrived at 10:35. Waiting 55 minutes for two crepes was very disappointing. While the drinks and food were delicious the service was terrible and we won't be back for food.
