It's 12:02 am on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. There are 4 cars in the parking lot. Knowing the lobby closes at 12, I pulled through the drive thru. As I pulled up, loudly through the speaker I'm told, WELCOME TO TACO BELL, GIVE ME A MINUTE. After 5 minutes and no response, I informed the drive thru attendant through the speaker that I just had a doordash order...thinking that the order may be done already, and also, that I wouldn't be adding to how much work they already have. Her response was louder than before and quickly, Yeah, well we're busy (4 cars) right now so come inside and get your order. Confused, since the lobby closes at 12, I pulled up to the window. I told the window attendant that I was the doordash order and that I'd come inside but I knew they closed the dining room at 12. Ignoring my statement, she says, oh and we don't have nacho cheese for that whole order sorry. She walks away, and another worker approaches the window and says that they are holding on nacho cheese and that I needed to get out and come inside to wait for the order to be finished. I again asked about the dining room hours. She said, we're leaving it open due to the situation (unknown, outside of running out of nacho cheese and having 4 cars total). My first issue...is this service isn't just questionable, its "Day One stuff". Rude, loud, demanding and commanding. I was never asked a single question by these two employees...think about that. My second issue...whether the lobby had closed or not...I have the right as a Dasher to choose my method of pickup. Especially if I've injured my leg. Finally....I could elaborate on more specifics of this poor experience...but I'll just get to my third main issue...the order took a VERY LONG time. I'm not sure what caused them to be so flustered...they kept saying multiple times each, that they're VERY BUSY...again, nobody in the dining room and 4 cars in the drive thru, from the pick up window to the person ordering. These were adults...and they knew that their service wasn't acceptable...but I'll entertain the possibility of this happening due to poor training. All that being said... I've managed fast food before. Both employees, in my opinion, should be disciplined for their rude behavior as well as their disregard for my reasoning for picking up in the drive thru instead of inside. One brunette,...
Read moreI had previously given them 5 stars and a positive review about how good the food was, even late at night, and how friendly the employees always were. I'm not sure what has happened in the last couple of months, but it's the complete opposite situation now it seems. In my last several visits, the food has been progressively worse, and the employees are significantly less friendly. Tonight I showed up at a little after 1am (unless I am mistaken, they close at 2) and as soon as I pulled into the parking lot every single light, inside and out, turned off - as if they saw a car pulling in, didn't want to make another order, so just completely closed the store 40 or so minutes early. On top of that, I was still able to place an order through the Taco Bell app for this store, which makes me believe they weren't really supposed to be closed. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this was just ridiculous, especially after each visit is more unsatisfactory than the last. It may seem like a small gripe, but when it comes after having several issues from the same establishment in a row, with no positive visits at all in between, from someone who always looks for a way to give the benefit of the doubt, (because I've also worked in food service for a couple decades and understand the issues that can arise), it seems there is a significant...
Read moreI came in, walked to the register, and waited there for about five minutes before a woman finally walked up and told me that they were only using the kiosk. This is part of the reason why I'm now boycotting mobile orders and other technologies on restaurants. Their kiosks also don't have all the items on their menu. I was paying in cash and was told that I was to place my order, then I would pay after they gave me my food. So I placed my order, then sat there for close to fifteen minutes before a friend of mine finally asked the cashier what was going on. This was the same lady who told me to pay after getting food. She's now telling us we had to pay first before getting food. During this they served several other people who ordered after me, and they pumped out a Door Dash order. All the while they were still running the drive thru. So they don't have enough staff to the run the cash register, but they do to run the...
