My experience here was far from pleasant. When we entered to dine in, we asked about an empty booth (we were a party of 3). We were told no because they are reserved for bigger parties, which is fine but it was directly behind the one we were in and the same size. As we were looking over the menu our waiter, Jenny, came over and basically was kind of rushing us to order. We weren’t even able to fully look over the menu. When we asked about drinks, it seems like she was frustrated but honestly all I asked is what juices they have because I don’t drink soda. As stated previously, we were rushed and my friend still hadn’t decided what she wanted and as Jenny was leaving to put in the tow orders she took, she tried to take the menu from my friend that still needed to order. It was like she did not want us there. Eventually she let the menu go and my friend was able to look over and order. There was two people who walked in and asked about the booth we wanted and she gave them the booth, which again was directly behind ours. Their service was 100% better than ours. They were not rushed, she explained the menu and drinks without being asked to. Overall just treated them better. I asked for a side rice and Jenny asked me about 5 times “Do you want it? You have to pay $6?” I was aware of the cost and I was fine with the cost. She walked away and when the rice was brought to me, it had a burnt smell but did not look burnt. I took a spoonful of the rice and it tasted exactly how it smelt, burnt. I asked another waitress there if I can get a new one. She took it back and Jenny returned. She told me that she took it off the bill and basically that it’s not going to be remade. At this point, I was ready to go. The food was not good, the service was horrible, and clearly it felt like I didn’t belong other people were getting good treatment and I was not. When we asked for the check, she brought it us and sat it on the table. About 45 seconds later she returned and said are you ready to pay. I was already irritated and my friend said one second. She HANDED the party of two behind us their check, with a checkbook, and a smile. Honestly I would never return. My friend orders takeout from here frequently but honestly I’d...

I'm not the biggest expert on sushi, but I did really like this place. It's relatively new, and they have a wide variety of specialty rolls, classic rolls, and of course other Japanese and so on dishes.

For rolls, we had the GodZilla, Triple fish, Dragon, Spider, and Ocean rolls. For raw fish we had the Striped bass and Yellowtail. I loved most of the rolls but they were definitely very... American, for lack of a better term. That's not to say they weren't good, far from it and I'd definitely order the dragon and spider ones again. I will definitely try the other rolls next time. The raw fish was fantastic and fresh, I especially loved the striped bass and would love to order more and more, sadly you only get two pieces per order.

The price was about 13.75 for each set of 8 pieces, and at the end of it while I was full I feel this is was a bit much for how much we got. They definitely have a very wide variety of spicy variations that I cannot try, so I can't speak on that. I would like to see a wider selection of raw sashimi and nigiri; the crab ones they had were cooked, sadly.

They have a pretty good desert menu, surprisingly. While we got the classic mochi ice cream, I wouldn't mind trying some of the other proper deserts they had.

Nothing to say on service, as it was without issue. Our waitress was kind and polite and the food came out surprisingly quickly.

Overall I definitely recommend this place and I will...

I got the sushi regular which comes with miso soup and side salad. Salad was refreshing but small which is fine. The miso soup was lukewarm but it was standard miso. The sushi regular was suppose to be tuna roll and 5 sashimi piece. I got crab stick roll instead. Ok cool no biggie. The issue was the sushi rice was dry. The sushi and sashimi were dry. The wasabi, horse radish was dry so i assume its old. The pickle ginger was also dry so i assume its old. My recommendation is to try the special rolls and do mot do the sushi special/boat combos. I believe its hit or miss and they may serve you old sushi. Recommend to try other dishes or warm dish and specialmade sushi rolls which may be a little more expensive but won’t be dry. Honestly i don’t think ill come back here. I will say the service was ok but it took awhile to serve my sushi when it should not take 15 minutes. 15 minutes to serve old sushi is not it. I was served miso soup and side salad first which is fine but please serve it together with entree. the atmosphere was fine, quiet, and accommodating. But please do not serve old sushi...

So I'm gonna say there aren't many redeeming qualities at this restaurant other than the service was good. Hence the 2 stars. The Food: Seafood Combo Teriyaki (2/10) - Let me say that it looks prettier than it tasted. It came out sizzling and looks really good. On the first bite into the shrimp I knew immediately that something was wrong. It tasted funny, like it was left over for a while and had a funky old food taste. After trying everything I realized this was left over crap they're feeding us. The scallops tasted funky and the lobster was partially burned and was hard like they reheated it. They tried their best to hide the old food taste with the sauce. The rice looked like reheated day old rice too. For $33 bucks this is a rip off. There is dog food better tasting than this and I'm not even exaggerating. Honestly, this was the one of the worst Asian restaurants I've been to around here. I would not recommend this place and I don't understand how they're in business if they feed people old food. What's worse is the outrageous price for back alley quality food.
