I called around 12.20pm on 9/19/20 and some gentleman answered with a very grouchy voice. I asked for an Italian hoagie and he said "Is that it?" I had to say that I wanted mayo on it. He didn't ask. He wasn't at all encouraging and lacked proper customer service skills. After stating that I wanted no salt on it, he said "yea, I don't put salt on anything...." Further assurance of poor customer service and general people skills. After affirming that I wanted lettuce, tomato and onions on it, he said "gimme about, eh, 15 minutes" in a very poor tone like he was bothered and bored by my call. Upon arrival, I did not have a mask. I am unable to wear a mask because of my medical condition. I walked past a few customers who were sitting down and others social distancing. Before reaching the counter, the same gentleman said "You need a mask to be in here. Where's your mask?" I said "I don't have one". He said "GET OUT! All of society wears a mask now."....and he pointed to the door. i was embarrassed and quite appalled by his behavior towards someone with a medical condition and is under the assumption that all people can wear a mask. I was embarrassed to tell him that I have a medical condition in front of other customers who witnessed this behavior. I have been in this establishment before and was not condemned for not wearing a mask. I can't imagine a society where we are convicted of a crime for not doing so. And I completely understand the times. I noticed the counter has a protection barrier between the cashier and customer and customers were social distancing. I felt that everyone was safe. I wasn't even given the courtesy of a warning next time or even the option of curbside pickup. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SAY THE LEAST!!! I have been to other restaurants that welcome my disability and I've should've known not to detour from such places. You have officially...
Read moreA few years ago, this would have been a 5 star review but last time we went there a few weeks ago, it was barely deserving of the 1 star. We hadnt been in a long time and wont be going again any time soon! We had to wait a while for our food to be ready (ordered ahead, got there around the 15 mins they told me) and then it was really disappointing. Onion rings and wings were completely overcooked to the point where we couldn't even eat them and steak sandwiches were super light. It was like eating a cheesy roll with a sprinkling of meat on it. I was too tired and aggrevated to take it all back and demand a refund but I wish I had bc it was $35 for food we would up throwing away!
The staff was not very friendly or helpful. They seemed very overwhelmed. Didnt look like there was a manager or owner there. We were there at 8ish on a Friday night and the majority of the customers were stocking up on 6 packs and 40s, most of them looking like they already had their share of 40s for the day, lol. Definitely wouldnt recommend Steak and Hoagie...
Read moreExtremely disappointed, the last time I went it was a bad experience. They got the order completely wrong, and gave me not even half a white bag of fries when i ordered a large fry. The cashier was extremely aggravated, to the point he started hitting the cash register. He even yelled at the cook. The next day I called and asked for a manager, the man who answered said it was him so I proceeded to inform him of the cashiers behavior. He said and I quote, "so what do you want?" I was flabbergasted and simply told him I wanted to inform him how his employees act in front of customers. He acted like he couldn't be bothered. Now I figured let's try again. I call to place an order 12am and the guy who answered told me that I can't place an order for pickup over the phone, I ask since when? He says 8 months ago, I reply with surprising because over the last 8 months I've ordered multiple times at this time and always called ahead and never had a problem before. He hung up on me. No more chances for them, they're crossed off my...
