Lee's Hoagie House — Restaurant in Abington Township

Its all about the rolls-- rolls rolls rolls they are excellent 4 stars for the bread - However ordered just a ham with American, lettuce and lite mayo- it had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much mayo and could barely eat it from them shaking on what appeared to be Italian seasoning or oregano. Nobody said anything to them about putting on the seasoning and it was not on the receipt (the lite mayo was)- but that didn't help. Lady at register was very nice, guy at pickup window seemed decent. I didn't feel like going all the way back after coming home. Just a word to the wise ensure you stress how you want the sandwich made and in the future I will say very very little mayo or mayo on the side and please do not put on that seasoning/ oregano/ whatever it was (took a picture to show it) ended up rinsing it off. Both potato salad and macaroni salad were good. My wife got a turkey sub, said it was good, they were out of cheddar, got her provolone, said it was decent. Two half sandwiches and the salads $29! The half is huge enough where 2 people could probably split it, so I guess worth the $...**UPDATE the owners reply about transparent pricing shows they did not read the review it was NOT about $ rather the food preparation which they did not address nor offer a remedy....

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Their customer service is HORRIBLE! I ordered a kosher hoagie with hot peppers - not knowing as a NEW CUSTOMER that their hot peppers that they ASSUME YOU WANT is a pepper relish! It’s disgusting and leaking everywhere! It does NOT MENTION anywhere from the menu or not even from the staff when you call that you have to say you don’t want this relish for regular peppers you have to say it! And speaking to the manager I was told with her rude attitude- in her own words - it’s your fault because you didn’t say banana peppers, and Everyone knows ! Well I’m not everyone and as a NEW Customer this should have been explained to me when taking my order! So I asked for a replacement because I cant eat this $15 hoagie ! She told me for her to replace it I would have to PAY FOR A NEW HOAGIE and I was basically STUCK WITH THIS HORRIBLE HOAGIE THAT I CANT EVEN EAT! I’m extremely disappointed with the CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE! And this is not right to your NEW customers that don’t know. I ordered on Doordash and called Lee’s afterwards to confirm my order because they messed up last time and gave me two 9 inch cheesesteaks, instead of two 18 inches like I ordered. The woman hung up on me and I am pretty sure it was the manager/owner (the asian woman). She told me it didn’t say 18 inches for one of them. When I asked her to check her system she refused and hung up on me. From a legal perspective this was so unprofessional. I have been a customer here for many years my entire firm has given this place money and for her to hang up on me as if I wasn’t a paying customer is ridiculous. Attached is the order that is now canceled because I will never give this place my money again and I will make sure my entire firm that carries over 300 staff members won’t either.
