The staff at McDonald's are a far Far Cry from being friendly and welcoming. I don't get a good morning welcome is McDonald's or something like that I get simply what is your order or what do you want?
When I walk in the average wait time for me to be spoken to is anywhere from three to five minutes. Given that the only routine point of contact with the customer is drive-thru when I walk into the restaurant a three to five minute weight should be considered highly unacceptable especially with two employees upfront who has seen me repeatedly
Over the past 3 months or so there are the mistakes in my order at least a half-dozen times as well as my wife on two separate occasions. When asked to correct the order instead of a simple apology and correcting of the order we usually get the staff on duty questioning are reasoning for the error or oftentimes refusing to correct it
As a matter of example my wife about 6 weeks ago got her meal. But she usually asks the staff to put the sandwich under the heat lamp for another 20 or 30 seconds of the cheese has a chance to melt. Instead of comply with that simple request the staff response was but it's already warm. When she asked for the my wife was told that she was speaking through the manager. So in other words the manager chose not to comply with the request that was of no consequence. My wife threw the sandwich outs because she was disgusted with the service
Unless something is done I will never visit that location again as I am disgusted with the level of service friendliness and care for the customer.
I've seen the staff when I walk in speaking to their friends on the cellphone while they're at the drive-thru window serving a customer. That happened this morning. Instead of going to the drive-thru I opted to walk into the store to see a young lady deciding that the call on the phone with a friend of hers talking about having to go out instead of staying in or working with more important than the customer at the window who's waiting for the food that was sitting 3 feet behind her to give to the customer. I could see the customer's face from where I was standing who was getting more and more upset that the young lady was not addressing the needs of the customer and was sitting there way too long waiting...
Read moreBy far the worst McDonald's I've visited regularly. It's a shame because it's so close to me, but it's a complete gamble to eat here. Orders are wrong more often than correct. Service is excruciatingly slow, always, and oftentimes you get ignored at the drivethru until you've been shouting for 5 minutes. They are closed on random mornings because employees don't show up. They are completely overwhelmed at every meal rush and you might as well go anywhere else, or you risk your lunch becoming an early dinner. All over a McDonald's visit.
As a rule I hold basically no expectations of fast food workers, who have no incentive to care. But basic service here is so consistently bad, I have to imagine management is doing something grossly wrong - not staffing properly, not training, something needs to change.
Just today I sat in my car half an hour while the confused teenager behind the counter sat with my order in hand, thinking I was going to come in and get it - after the app told me to wait in my car, and she told me my order wasn't ready yet and I'd need to continue waiting. I took that to mean wait in my car, she took that to mean I didn't want my food. When I finally came back in to check, she blamed me for leaving, then didn't give me the drink I paid for - causing me to need to come back into the store a 3rd time. All over a $3 app order that was supposed to be in-and-out. Again, I don't blame the worker, just whomever left 4 hapless employees at the mercy of a Sunday lunch rush after a Phillies win.
Oh, and when I finally opened my food, my normal plain hamburger had a nice, plainly visible chunk of bright pink, raw beef sitting on top of the bun.
This is an average experience at this location.
Go to literally any other McDonalds to get your app deals, the extra drive will probably...

My recent experience with McDonald's left much to be desired. I placed an order via Grubhub for delivery, eagerly anticipating a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, upon receiving my delivery, I discovered that half of my order was missing. This was disappointing, to say the least, as I had been looking forward to enjoying the full selection I had paid for.
Upon realizing the issue, I promptly called the restaurant to address the situation. To my dismay, the manager I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only did they dismiss my concerns, but they also abruptly hung up on me, instructing me to contact Grubhub instead. This lack of customer care and professionalism was deeply disappointing, especially considering the reputation McDonald's upholds.
As a loyal customer who has enjoyed McDonald's meals for years, I expected better service and respect from their staff, particularly when handling issues that directly impact customer satisfaction. The dismissive attitude and lack of accountability demonstrated by the manager left a lasting negative impression on my experience.
In conclusion, while I have always appreciated the convenience and quality of McDonald's food, this recent incident has significantly tarnished my view of their customer service. I hope that McDonald's takes steps to address such issues and ensures that all customers receive the level of service and respect...
