A Tale of Two Meals: The Highs and Lows at Terra Nossa, Abington
My culinary escapades at Terra Nossa in Abington have been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. On one hand, there’s the capirinha incident – a drink that promised a zesty zest but ended up being a lemony letdown. Despite my earnest efforts and a sense of fiscal responsibility (it wasn’t cheap!), the drink remained unconquered, a sour reminder of lemons long past their prime.
But wait, not all was lost in this flavor saga! Rewind to a breakfast scene, and it’s a whole different story. The ‘misto quente completo’ was nothing short of a morning masterpiece, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice? A golden elixir of joy, making every sip feel like a toast to new beginnings. This breakfast experience was a love letter to morning hunger, perfectly crafted and delivered with zest.
This juxtaposition of experiences is a curious one. While the South Shore Plaza branch consistently hits the high notes, the Abington branch seems to be playing a different tune, especially come lunchtime. Yet, with the delightful breakfast memory in mind, I’m left with a sense of hope. It’s a reminder that sometimes, a place can surprise you – for better or for worse.
In conclusion, Terra Nossa in Abington is a place of contrasts. A breakfast haven and a lunchtime puzzle. Will I return? Maybe, with cautious optimism and a hopeful appetite, looking forward to more breakfast triumphs and perhaps a redeemed capirinha. After all, every culinary story deserves a chance at a...
Read moreA Brazillian Grocery/ resturant. I love this place and for a while I was visiting them almost everyday and now that I am not working close by I will still visit them in a regular bases. The only negative point is that a very few of staff speak english but they are very friendly and language has never been a problem. I love their fresh bread buns and the small yet large enough fresh cheese varierties and a chuck full of chorizos and calebasse and store made susages in the butcher shop section. Even If I go there every day I will still walk out with minimum of 3 bags full of yummies, and when home that is all I eat and BTW I am neither spanish nor Brazillian. Also they have a wonderful tastly looking fresh buffet with varieties of fresh stews and salads. TRY IT ..YOU WILL LOVE IT . this is my favorite...
