First off, the service is OUTSTANDING! I have to assume the two young ladies working today (04/29) are the owners because if they aren't, the owner has found two gem employees! ANY food retailer would be blessed to have them. There were 3 customers ahead of me, and each customer was treated as though the entire establishment was there just for them! VERY UNUSUAL to find in counter service restaurants. This was my first time coming here, and I picked-up 12 bagels of different varieties and 3 containers of cream cheese (2 Strawberry and 1 Chive and Onion). Forget paying $5.50 for a pack of 5 Lender's bagels next door at Kroger...full of preservatives with a soft exterior, and a tub of Philadelphiacream cheese... Instead, after grocery shopping, stop in and get FRESHLY MADE ENORMOUS bagels of different varieties and tub of house made cream cheese in a variety of flavors.... for less, ounce-for-ounce, than you pay at any grocery store, including Aldi. They also have a Cream Cheese "Flight" in which you select 3 varieties of housemade cream cheese (each is enough for 2-3 bagels) for just $5. Bagels freeze perfectly, and one of their bagels is enough for a meal. I'm using the Asiago bagels to make bagel pizzas in a toaster oven, and the bagels with Rosemary to make roast beef sandwiches for lunches. I've eaten more bagels in NYC than I can remember, and these are of the same quality and taste! They even have a Lox plate that comes with a large amount of lox/salmon and includes cream cheese and cups of capers, onions and lemon. If you like a lazy but tasty late breakfast on Saturdays or Sundays, stop by and pick up a lox box the day before or the morning of... I BELIEVE they close at 2pm (might just be weekdays?). This place is a hidden gem behind a strip shopping center, and I don't see any possible way you could be disappointed.... well, unless you don't eat bagels!
I did not try any of their beverages, but I'm excited to try one on my next Bagel Run...
Read moreEDIT: We go to Jeff’s weekly now. Love the bagels and coffee, still don’t love the lack of toaster or microwave. While I understand the idea of having warm options that come fresh out of the oven, it seems that we have only had a warm bagel one time in all of our trips. The staff never mentions warm options and to be honest, when we get there on Sunday afternoons, there don’t seem to be bagels being made any longer (which is fine since it’s nearly end of day). Even if we were offered warm options, I always get the same thing and really like that same bagel and it’d be like winning the lotto getting it fresh out of the oven when there are so many other options. Either way, I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that I just have to take it home so I can enjoy it warmed. It does lose the excitement not being able to eat it immediately but it is what it is. These are the best bagels around so I’m willing to deal with it.
The bagels and cream cheese are all fantastic. I’m bagel picky and these were delicious. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a toaster or microwave to heat up or toast a bagel. Seems fairly standard. The employee just said that the bagels are always warm coming out of the oven. My husband ordered one that was warm but mine was cool. I’m not a fan of eating cool bagels with cream cheese. I did not eat my bagel there. I brought it home so I could lightly toast it. We left Jeff’s and went to the other nearby bagel shop and had a toasted bagel because that’s what we were craving. I guess if you like toasted bagels, plan on taking them to-go when visiting this establishment. We will be back because everything was delicious. The specialty coffee drinks...
Read moreOkay, here goes...this company is amazing. The owners are just as down-to-earth as they seem and the staff really seems to love being there. Our area of Kennesaw/Acworth has quite a few places to get a bagel, but I believe there is a new sheriff in town and his name is Jeff ⭐ Follow the instructions in the name and RUN to this shop to taste the best damn bagel outside of NYC (and better than a lot of NYC shops!!) Now to the food...I got 8 flavors of Bagels including the Bagel of the Day (Garlic Bread OMG!!) and they are warm, crusty and oh so chewy. Each and every one is large and flavorful and a hit with me and my "born and bred in Brooklyn and Long Island NY" bagel snob hubby. They even posted an impromptu review he did in the shop on FB 🤣 we loved it! I also tried their bagel spread (Cannoli cream cheese) on a warm Cinnamon Brown Sugar bagel as soon as I got home and it was orgasmic. I hope this business is a rousing success, and based on the aroma alone they are already a big hit. FYI they do NOT have a toaster in the shop so the bagels are warm, soft and tender with a chewy crust that is only enhanced with the awesome spreads made fresh every day. Be sure to ask what's HOT and they will produce a just out of the oven masterpiece that will bring a smile to your tummy AND your face🥯✨️ Open every day from 6:30am until 2pm, do yourself a favor and get one (or a dozen) for breakfast. Or brunch. Or second breakfast. Or a snack. Make friends at the office and bring bagels and spreads...or get a special treat for someone you love. Whatever the reason, it's Bagel Season and Jeff's Bagel Run is your...
