Culver’s — Restaurant in Addison Township

This Culver's trip was a roller coaster! We went because they have amazing buffalo chicken strips. Turns out they don't have them at this location anymore.

We ended up getting the fish sandwich meal with curds, a kid's meal and a few desserts. The frozen strawberry lemonade was the star! I will definitely be returning this summer to get a few of these! They have a bunch of flavors, watermelon, mango, strawberry, lemon, etc. Strawberry sounded great to me. They have real fruit chunks and it's super refreshing and light! DELICIOUS!

Their fish sandwich has always been one of the best out there. It speaks for itself. This time it didn't have much tartar sauce, so it was a bit on the dry side. That said it's still one of the best fast food fish sandwiches I've ever found.

We also got a kids meal of grilled cheese w/fries. It was alright. Next time I'll get chicken strips for the kids meal. It's not a requirement, but I noticed the kids meal didn't come with a toy. Good to know!

The cheese dipping sauce was very good. The texture was less thick than I'm used to, but great for their fries.

On Wednesday May 16, 2018, I visited the Culver's in Addison IL around 12:40 pm on my way to work. I went through the drive thru at 1st order a double burger basket with a strawberry milk shake. Then I decide once I got to the window that I wanted the crispy chicken sandwich basket with a strawberry shake. My order was repeated back to me but the milkshake was wrong. I order a strawberry milkshake and he replied to me "M&M with Strawberries," "I stated no that's not what I order" it's a strawberry milkshake. Now I gets to work and my orders has mustard in tray inside and on the bun. My milkshake has M&M and Strawberries in it. I called and spoke with the Manager Dino and the only thing he could do was take down my information. He inform me that the cooperate or store manager would get back to me through mail or via telephone. He did apologize about the issue but what if I was allergic to Chocolate. Let me premise this by saying that I typically LOVE my Addison Culver’s. However, this evening, I went to the drive-thru at 8pm and there was only one other car in front of me in the drive-thru. First off, they took at least 2 minutes to enter my (2) value baskets. Then, I drove up to the window and the window cashier handed me a drink with a lid that was halfway on and spilled part of my drink on me. Then he told me to pull forward to wait for my order, to which I asked “don’t you need to give me a number?” Then he gave me a random number and we pulled forward. It took (3) attempts for them to get our food right as we waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru. On top of that, there was no apology or no offer to ask us what they could do to help improve this visit.
