Sarpino's Pizzeria Elmhurst — Restaurant in Addison Township

I won't be ordering from there again. The first delivery I had ordered a double chicken parmesan, Ceaser salad, pepperoni calzone, cheesy breadsticks and tiramisu. I received ...a single order of chicken alfredo, a burnt calzone, and what we think burnt breadsticks . Ceaser salad was way to brown, threw it out. Tiramisu fabulous. There were 2 of us with one dinner. Great start to our weekend getaway. MOD was very understanding promised a credit for $20 for pasta and a couple bucks for bread. I never even mentioned the calzone or salad. We were to order from there then next evening for our credit. I'm understanding been in this business a long time. The next evening I called to get my credit and a couple other things I didn't want the driver coming out for a one dish tip. When i called I was told I could not get delivery and he knew nothing about our free double chicken parmesan and bread sticks. :( . I offered to pick it up. Later told after being put on hold that they would deliver. I ordered a double chicken parmesan, cheesy bread sticks, mozzarella sticks, double order of chicken tenders. And one cheesecake with strawberry sauce. I received a single order of cold chicken alferdo pasta AGAIN, cold mozzarella sticks , a cold order of chicken fingers, a very large marinara sauce we did not order, cheesecake no strawberry sauce. When I called to inform them. The MOD apologized again and said the order would be comped, he had no way to fix the order and he had no driver to deliver it anyway. The order would be comped was the only thing keeping me from blowing a gasket. I'm back home now and looked at my credit card statement . I was charged $49 for our first evening meal without tip (cash). I was charged for our comped meal twice at $15 and some change. I roughly paid $100 with tip for some really bad mistakes. I don't appreciate being told that I would be compensated for their many mistakes and I wasn't. As soon as I left town they no longer cared about their promises. That says a whole lot for this business. What a shame, what a waste of money . Thanks for helping me have a stressfree...

WORST PIZZA EVER, ORDERED THE MEXICAN WHICH SUPPOSED TO HAVE GROUND BEFF,RED & GREEN, PEPPERS, AND JALAPENO PEPPERS, WHEN THE PIZZA CAME IT WAS COLD, THE DELIVERY DRIVER, HANDED ME HIS PHONE AND SAID YOU GOT TO FIIL THIS OUT, DIDN'T GIVE ME MY FOOD, I HAD TO ASK FOR MY FOOD, SO HE FINALLY GAVE ME MY FOOD, I WENT BACK TO THE DOOR TO ASK HIM WHAT I NEED TO FILL OUT & HE SHOWED ME THE PHONE & STATED, IT'S FOR A TIP, HE GOT AN ATTITUDE B/C I DIDN'T GIVE HIM A TIP. WHEN I OPEH MY PIZZ UP THERE WAS LITERALLY 2 SMALL PIECES OF GROUND BEEF ON IT, A LOT OF PEPPERS, NO CHEESE & VERY LITTLE SAUCE.

SO, I CALLED THE RESTAURANT & SPOKE W/ THE MANAGER ( NEAL) WHO WAS VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL,WHEN I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE AFOREMENTIONED THINGS, HE TOLD ME THAT THERE'S NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT & I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PIZZA, OR COME INTO THE RESTAURANT AND PICK UP ANOTHER ONE, I TOLD HIM, I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT, & TO JUST SEND ME ANOTHER PIZZA, HE REFUSED, TO REFUND MY MONEY/SEND ANOTHER PIZZA, SO I HAD TO CALL MY BANK TO FILL A DISPUTE FOR THE CHARGE TO GET MY MONEY BACK, I CALLED THE RESTAURANT 3 TIMES TO TRY & GET CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, TO NO AVAIL. HONESTLY THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN WHEN I'M IN OAKBROOK, STAYING AT THE DOUBLETREE HOTEL.

Horrible food &...

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm extremely disappointed. We placed an order for a thin crust pizza at 535 this evening and was told 45 min which was perfect. After waiting an hour we received a call from the driver but his phone was breaking up and we got disconnected. We called and spoke to someone at store who at first said "no that couldn't be the driver because he's not on his way yet but your in his route" we thought ok fine just making sure. Then waited another 40 minutes and called the store again and they stated they were sorry but driver was for sure on his way and would be there in five minutes. Then I get a call from driver 10 minutes later saying he's here to come out but I explained my husband was waiting outside already band the driver was nowhere to be found. Then he told me where he was and I said that's wrong. He wanted me for to wait to give him directions for Him to turn around because he was in wrong area. We gave him address and he had no idea where he was going at which point we cancelled. It had been almost 2 hours. Very disappointing. The store originally said they would credit out pizza back but still haven't seen...
