Subway — Restaurant in Addison Township

I have never wished to be able to put in a review with negative stars before, but I do now. Too bad I am limited to the lowest of 1 star.

We had the most ridiculous experience attempting to pick up our online order. The people behind the counter refused to give me my order because I did not order the food under the legal name on my driver's license (sorry, I abreviate my name) and my credit card encrypts the card for online purchases, even after showing the order receipt on my phone. After 5 minutes of arguing and my husband and kids getting out of the car they agreed to go MAKE the order?! WHAT?! That was the final straw. This was a prepaid online order and they hadnt even bothered to make the order?! What is the purpose of an online order then?! We told them to cancel the order and not to bother. They had already wasted enough of our time and we already have screaming hungry kids, we will go get something else. I do not recommend and we will not be returning to this location. Where to start. Ordered for pickup wasnt ready. The lady behind the counter making the food. Moving slower than a snail. She looks like she hates her life. She mouths something everytime someone comes in. Let alone she keeps staring at me like I'm interrupting her day. She'd rather talk with the younger lady than make food. As one manager to another I wouldn't tolerate this. Floors are dirty. Tables are dirty. If customers were to walk in my store looking like this I would expect them to walk in and walk straight out. 2 sandwiches a footling cookie and a couple of those dippers should not take 30 min to make. I’ve been going to this subway since 2014 and everyone is good here except for the bald man. If you ever come to this location do not get your food from him. This is the 2nd time I visited and he placed the bread on the bare counter with no piece of paper under it then he put my bread on a DIRTY used paper with food stains on it. I asked him to give me a new bread with a new piece of paper and he obliged after I explained it multiple times for him to understand me and he was visibly irritated with me the rest of the visit.
