La Placita Taqueria — Restaurant in Addison Township

Ah the joy this place brings me! Tacos are under $2, and they are great! If you want extra sauces in bigger cups (maybe 6oz cups), it's $1 per sauce! Super cheap! I usually call in advance and place an order just because they seem to get busy at night, especially in the weekend since they are open super late. We recently tried the torta and burrito and they are just as good as the tacos. Side Note (i always pick up food, i do not eat there so i cannot say how service is for dine in. but for carry out they have been quite nice)

Update - if i could give them 10 stars i would! we just had a party this Saturday and since we all are taco lovers, we decided to order 100 tacos from here. We didn't want individual tacos so they put the meat in trays and cave us tubs (TUBS) of onion, cilantro, cheese, tomato, sauces, guac. I mean, we had about 25 people, that each had easily 4 tacos, and came back late for more and the next day there was enough meat left to feed a family get-together! I absolutely love this place. the food was amazing, they were great and for $240 with tax and tip for all that. I mean, what else can...

No costumer service at all. Not family oriented, dont even think of bringing your kids and family here. If you do they will not be respected or even acknowledged.

The waiter acts as if she is doing you a favor when you are there. Because of this, I choose to spend my money where is wanted instead of here.

Rushed, rude, fronts service. With her "compermisito, compermisito!" Showing the food almost on top of the costumer. The food is okay, the cooks make sure it is accurate and prepared fast. But the front service might as well not be there. I understand short staffing but is not the costumers fault so dont take it out on them, then go back to be on your cellphone. I did leave a tip out of courtesy to the good service that the cooks provide. Yet, due to lack of costumer service quality. I will not be back and I do...

How is this place still open? Seriously, how many taco places does Addison really need? I ordered chicken tacos and paid the extra little money to not have cash on me. The chicken was shredded dry white meat without ANY flavor whatsoever, like they just took out of the oven after reheating it the 8th time and shredded it and put it on the tortilla. Other than a couple diced onion pieces and cilantro, that was it. My taco was a nasty, dried up pile of meat on a tortilla like nobody really cared how it tasted. It tasted bad. If the tacos aren't legit, no reason to try anything else over there. Failed at lunch. I was starving at the time, and that did not help these tacos taste any better. ugh.

The people that give this place five stars....I have to wonder if you have lost all your taste buds in your old...
