A Fiesta for the Taste Buds at Cantina Laredo, Dallas
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cantina Laredo in Dallas, Texas, and it was undoubtedly an exceptional experience. The restaurant not only boasts the best Mexican food in the area but also delivers a dining atmosphere that is truly unforgettable.
From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant decor and lively ambiance set the stage for a Mexican culinary adventure. The menu at Cantina Laredo features a delightful array of dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful enchiladas, every bite was a celebration of Mexican cuisine.
What truly elevated the dining experience was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Jay. His enthusiasm and passion for the menu were evident as he guided us through the options, offering insightful recommendations. Jay's charismatic personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, making the overall experience not just about the food but also about the joy of dining.
The attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the attentiveness of the staff, particularly Jay, made this visit stand out. Cantina Laredo, coupled with Jay's exceptional service, created a memorable dining experience that I will cherish. If you're in Dallas and craving the best Mexican food with a side of fun, Cantina Laredo is the...
Read moreDrinks: I've come here multiple times because, let's face it who doesn't want to Great margarita The margaritas aren't bad at all, very decent wine choices Pinot Noir is very good btw
Food: a lot will depend on your taste and how much experience you've had eating Mexican food, I classify this location on the lower end for me, it's pretty basic, it's okay but it's not the best
Service: I always sit in the bar in any resturant first of all I'm not very PG-13 so probably shouldn't be in the main area lol
Bar service is VERY POOR !!, it's very difficult to get continuous service without having to look for them or wonder where they are, they just disappear off the face of the earth, even when it's dead in there and I'm the only person in the bar it's the same way CRAZY lol You have to order everything all at once and know what you want so you don't have to worry about looking for them to come back to help you cuz they want at least not when I've been in there and I've been in there more than once to give them a chance to see maybe I'm just coming on a bad day I've been every day of the week and every day of the week it's the same
FAILED overall, you should NEVER have a CUSTOMER WAITING or looking for you to serve them!!!! You never get a Second chance to make a First Impression with your...
Read moreWe go to Cantina every week, sometimes multiple times each week. Two things bring us there - YERI, our awesomely excellent server and the superbly great Cantina Laredo food creations. Another positive - of all the Cantina Laredo restaurants visited by far, Yeri is the BEST TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE MAKER in any Cantina. If they had an award for fun - Yeri would also win first prize for friendly service and an awesome smile. Ask Yeri for the guacamole "Gregorio style" and you'll get the original recipe with fresh everything including fresh jalapenos. Want some fantastic nachos not on the menu? Ask for Yeri's special nachos made with fajita chicken breast, spinach, and mushrooms. There are a few other things not on the menu that are delicious, including the Cascabel Ribeye or if in the mood for seafood, the Blackened Salmon with Chipotle Aioli sauce served on warm Vera Cruz vegetables and asparagus is especially good. All-in-all, this is a great place for lunch or dinner, and weekend brunch adds things like omelets, huevos rancheros, and other brunch specialties. Don't worry, if Yeri isn't there on the day you go, they have lots of excellent servers and the food is...
