Not from the area, was hungry. Tried this place and was REALLY surprised how good the pizza is. The building is off the main historical drag and its under renovation inside, but I dont care much about atmosphere, just the product. Pizza id give 4.7 / 5 (and im pretty critical on pizza) Perfectly toasted without being burn at all. The crust is flaky and doesnt flop and sag and its perfectly textured. Fantastic balance of cheese and topping, not too much but plenty. Not a giant greaseball middle like many places. For small town midwest this is really high-grade pizza, and ive traveled a lot. Very nice staff and reasonably priced, about 30% higher than mega chains like Dominos Marcos etc but the pizza is far superior. The dining area is small and they are remodeling but if you just want carry out or youre solo this is aces. I read some reviews and it seems the older ones are not during the same owners or place because those older pics look nothing like today and the staff was super nice. 5 stars easily.

I don't understand where everyone's "rude employees" are. The lady who took my order was very pleasant. When I walked in I was greeted. I was reminded to grab my drinks. My food is hot and delicious. Highly recommend the taco pizza. Thank you! Will be returning while in town.

All I can say about this pizza that is positive, is that it LOOKED good. Well, unfortunately the taste was nothing like it looked. The bread was very dry and the pizza was like cardboard. The guy was extremely rude when I ordered and when I picked it up. Highly disappointed.

My experience here was wild, but well worth it. I ate here quite a few times, toxic environment that looks like it’s from the 1970s. The food quality ranges from the owner making a half a** cheese bread, to the manager whose standards are sooo “perfect” he reminds you everyday how he is better. The service depends on what day you show up, as the owner will yell at his customers or just flat out is rude, rushing the customer over the phone by saying, “come on dude! what do you want?!” and will deny it right after. The place used to be a great hangout… In the 1980s and the atmosphere is 100% from that time as the owner refuses to put effort and definitely money into his own business. Lastly the menu is too much, almost more fried food than pizza, and 50% of the food is frozen at one point. The pizza dough was always made fresh, then you get to chose from 3 times as much side items as compared to the amount of pizza, and there are about 10-15 “specialty” pizzas. All Truth, believe what you want, not everyday is 2 star day, just most of them. If you want to try the place best bet is on...

A little pricey but very good. The service was strange! We walked in and naturally, waited to be seated and the teenage (college?) boys just walked right by us never said a word. Just kept staring at us from the kitchen. I finally went up to someone else's table and asked them if they waited to be seated. They said no. We picked a table and sat down and again the H.S/college boy walked by again and took a pizza to another table. We then saw another patron walk in and walked up the counter and ordered. So finally that's what my boyfriend did. Awkward!! So, I don't know if the staff is unfriendly or they just aren't trained on customer service...either way the pizza and bread sticks were very good. Service, not so much. But now that we know how it works, we'll more than...
