Went here between lunch and dinner on a Saturday afternoon. There were only a few customers but everyone seemed friendly.
The food was way better than I expected (was thinking we'd get typical bar food but this was a huge upgrade!) We asked our super nice waitress for recommendations and she didn't miss a trick! Everything was spot on! She even turned to one of the cooks (shout out to the former vet from Indiana!) to see what she suggested and again a stellar choice. (A chicken Philly-style sandwich with a spicy twist [can't remember the name] my husband thought was great.
Cheesy potatoes with ham entree was delicious, the brick wall burger was really, really good, and my nephew's corn dogs looked so tasty (he enjoyed them and finished both of them AND his fries)!

Read moreBeen all over the world many times over and have lived in Northern VA right outside D.C. for 30 yrs now and pretty used to high end dining options and quality pubs since my county (Loudoun) #1 richest in U.S. for decades now and 5 of the surrounding (Fairfax, Arlington, etc) counties in top 10 richest in U.S. for decades running now also. And of course all the fantastic D.C. options.
Point is The Brick Wall stands up and would do well there for the quality of menu options, craft beer, great service, and the quality of interesting local patrons to chat up. Anyway, had a great time!...

So it's 5.50 to 6.50 for each pint glass. If you come here with the clear intention of getting drunk, you may leave with a $50 Bill. Especially if your with a date, or you buy a round. They also charge a $2 cover on the weekends for a live band that nobody's watching, or a DJ that nobody is dancing to. $2 isn't enough to matter much, but it's just enough to irritate you, especially of you're the type that typically doesn't carry cash. Other than that the food is very...
