The Grasshopper-El Chapulin — Restaurant in Adrian

I am deeply offended for my culture and for my human race from the way I was treated at “the grasshopper”. Besides anything racial , I was not greeted with a smile or a simple hello , instead I was welcomed with a face of disgust . it was a very uncomfortable experience. I was not offered the bar and was Rudely told to wait 20 minutes when there was an open bar and open tables . On top of that the bartender did not want to accept mine nor my cousins I.D . Almost felt like I was going through a border patrol checkpoint station . The people that were in line behind us ,got serviced before us , and yeah they where white . I know it wasn’t a general bad customer service trait . Because they were choosing who to be friendly with and it’ want me. They definitely missed out on a good tip . Also , why is the bartender walking around serving drinks with a baby in her arms . . Never again . “The Grasshopper “ doesn’t deserve anything Mexican , except the chancla. Watch your bill closely! To start this place charges for chips and salsa where most Mexican restaurants provide that complementary. I ordered the Taco plate. Two tacos with rice and beans. I asked about my meet choices, waitress replied with beef, chicken, or pork. I asked “what about pastor, carne Asada, or Barbacoa?” She didn’t know what any of that was besides barbacoa so I ordered my tacos that, when I get my bill there is suddenly a two dollar up charge for the barbacoa I wasn’t told about that and to top it off there was a NCA fee on my check as well, which apparently is an extra charge for using a card. The waitress acted very annoyed by my questions and insisted the information about these up charges were on the menu. During our discussion about this she simply turned and walked away. I will never come back...

This place is mediocre at best. The food is decent..not authentic Mexican food, portions are also decent. There prices are high for the quality of food and for the service. I think I would be less jaded if our waitress would have been more professional and understood the meaning of "service industry" Our waitress didn't introduce herself, literally threw our drink napkins at us and sprinkled them over the table and on the floor...she did the same with the straws. Kind of felt like she was serving the farms animals at a trough. At one point she even took her shoes off in front of us because she had tripped on something 😖😳🤢😳😖.
