Amazing chicken Marsala, and the hand breaded chicken tender/nuggets were so delicious! How can you beat $13 for 32 nuggets?!? (It’s a Saturday special)! The prices were exceptionally reasonable, and surprising for the quality and quantity. We can’t wait to go back! “EDIT”, we went back, and had more amazing food .. and if they have it, TRY THE SEAFOOD CHOWDER! It’s the BEST I’ve ever had!!

Great staff, great food, and atmosphere. I'm not returning to this place until they change their carryout containers. This is wild to get fried chicken in Styrofoam. Look at these pictures. How am I supposed to eat this food, knowing it's safe, with literal holes melted into the styrofoam. THIS IS CRAZY and I've contacted the appropriate agencies.

One of my favorite restaurants however, was a bit disappointed with delivery. Salad was put together sloppy. The sub was great and the chicken parm was just ok (also a bit sloppy). I didn’t give a low rating because over the 10+ years it’s really the first time I’m disappointed.

In the blue-collar heart of Agawam, Massachusetts, where the asphalt meets authenticity, E.B.'s Restaurant stands as a beautiful bastard child of New England sensibilities and honest-to-god cooking chops. The kind of joint where the Red Sox games blare eternal from wall-mounted TVs, but the kitchen puts out seafood that would make a Gloucester fisherman weep into his beer.

Here's the thing about E.B.'s - it's gloriously unfashionable. The bathrooms have seen better days, probably sometime around when The Curse of the Bambino was still a thing. But that's not why you're here. You're here because someone in that kitchen gives a damn, and it shows in every butter-soaked mussel, every perfectly crispy fried mushroom, every surprisingly elegant plate of butternut squash ravioli that makes its way past the servers who treat you like you're their favorite cousin from out of town.

The dining room is a time capsule of New England sports bar aesthetics - burgundy tablecloths that have absorbed a thousand stories, dark wood that's witnessed countless Sox-Yankees debates, and a cartoon mascot that somehow works despite itself. It's comfortable like your favorite hoodie, the one you refuse to throw away despite what your significant other says.

The menu reads like a greatest hits album of American comfort food, but with unexpected B-sides that steal the show. Sure, you can get your chicken wings and meatball grinders - and they're damn good - but it's the seafood that betrays E.B.'s secret: someone in this kitchen trained somewhere serious and decided to bring those skills to where they're needed most - a neighborhood joint where real people eat.

Pro tip: Grab a booth near the bar during a Sox game. Order the seafood - any of it. Watch the locals. There's a rhythm here, a beautiful dance of servers navigating the space like they were born to it, of regulars who've turned this place into their second living room, of first-timers whose eyes go wide when they realize their food is way better than the humble surroundings suggested. This is America, unfiltered and unafraid, serving up excellence without pretense.

And you know what? That's exactly what dining out should be - a place where the food punches above its weight class, where the service comes with a side of actual human connection, and where the slightly worn edges only add to the authenticity of the experience. In a world of manufactured ambiance and Instagram-bait plating, E.B.'s is keeping it real, one perfectly executed plate at a time.

Just don't skip the house-made dressings on your salad. Trust me on this one.

Local's guide: Hit them up for lunch when you want the same great food with a quieter vibe. The clipboard menus mean daily specials that are worth checking out. If you're coming for dinner during a big game, show up early - the regulars have their favorite spots and they've earned them. And yes, you want the butternut squash ravioli, even if you think you don't. Especially if you...

What a cool place! I had no idea this gem was hidden away in Agawam. We stopped by just before the dinner rush so we got to take our time with the menu and really extend our dining experience. It's got a local bar/pub feel, but you can definitely bring kids, the whole family, etc here. You order upon entry then pick a table and they bring out your order. It's a different vibe, definitely worth checking out. I just wish the fish and chips were on the menu everyday, I'll have to go back next week so I can try them. 🤔 When you pick your salad dressing you must must must try the apple cider vinegarette. (It was unique and pretty magical. Why don't other places have this dressing?) Ok so don't be misled by my four stars....I want to go back for fish and chips before I give full credit. 🤗 Also, the chicken marsala, I could fill a bathtub with that sauce. The flavor was just right and it reminded me of the first time I had a marsala dish. Bottom line: casual family friendly dining experience, reasonable prices, hidden treasure. I wish more restaurants had...

This review is all based on eating in. I've had takeout from them for many years and the food was great. Wings are always fresh and good. Decided to eat in after all of their recent advertising and updates as we're big on supporting local businesses. Odd but we didn't realize it was pseudo table service. You order at the counter and then they walk it out which is fine. Floors were pretty sticky walking in. We didn't care much for the mozzarella sticks as they had zero flavor. Sauce was tasty. Took a while to get our drinks even though there was only two other parties. Waitress was busy with talking to friends at the bar. I was there with both of my kids as they were looking forward to wings. Waitress was definitely a sailor at one point in her life considering what was coming out of her mouth. She was loud, full of curses, complaining about her life and the only person you could hear in the whole dining room. I'll never...
