I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Gold Rush Liquidation, and I must say that my visit left me extremely disappointed and appalled. Not only did the store fail to meet basic standards of customer service, but it also engaged in blatant discrimination, which is completely unacceptable in this day and age.
From the moment I entered the store, I felt a sense of discomfort and unease. The staff members appeared disinterested and unfriendly, and it seemed like they were deliberately avoiding any interaction with me. I understand that not every store can have the friendliest staff, but the indifference displayed by the employees at Gold Rush Liquidation was on a whole other level.
What shocked me even more was witnessing several instances of discriminatory behavior towards certain customers. It was evident that the store had a biased attitude towards individuals of a particular race, ethnicity, or background. I observed firsthand how these customers were treated differently, facing longer wait times, dismissive attitudes, and even outright rudeness.
I attempted to voice my concerns to the store management, but they showed little interest in addressing the issue. It was clear that they were either complicit in this discriminatory behavior or simply did not consider it a priority. Their lack of action and refusal to acknowledge the problem left me feeling frustrated and powerless.
Beyond the discrimination, the store itself was poorly organized and lacked a wide variety of products. The shelves were poorly stocked, and many items were either out of stock or displayed haphazardly. The overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store were subpar, making it an unpleasant environment for shopping.
As a consumer, I strongly believe in equality and fair treatment for all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, or background. The behavior exhibited by Gold Rush Liquidation goes against these principles and should not be tolerated. Discrimination in any form is abhorrent and should be actively condemned and eradicated.
I would strongly advise against supporting a store that engages in discriminatory practices. Instead, I encourage everyone to patronize businesses that promote inclusivity, diversity, and respect for all customers. Gold Rush Liquidation has clearly demonstrated a lack of moral compass and deserves the negative reviews it receives.
In conclusion, my experience at Gold Rush Liquidation was extremely disappointingi due to their discriminatory behavior and lackluster customer service. I will not be returning to this store, and I urge others to think twice before supporting an establishment that embraces such...

Been shopping Bin Stores forever, this one’s the worst. I’m sure there’s some good items but they’re probably few and far between. Everything is damaged. I’ll explain.
Everything is broken. Plus they tried to overcharge me. Tried to buy a couple things I thought I could fix. It rang up as $8 on the register then all of a sudden it was 3x that amount. I tried asking why but the girl behind the counter was too busy playing on her phone to answer me. ?!
Basically they sell the worst possible Amazon & Temu returns. There’s a reason something is a return. 99.999% of items are damaged whether you can spot it in the store or not, or missing vital parts meaning it’s useless. Bought a bike basket I can’t use because it’s missing half the assembly which includes parts I can’t get anywhere. It’s not like I can return it or return it to Amazon because it’s missing parts.
They sell 3/4 USED cosmetics, 1/2 used cleaning supplies, ripped curtains, mismatched furniture covers with broken zippers, clothing that looks like came from Saver’s reject pile. Some clothes were downright USED. It’s one thing to sell new items with a rip, stain or missing buttons but it’s something else to sell garbage clothes.
You can also smell the rotten import quality off-gassing, and if you’re a bin shopper you know what I mean.
The “good stuff” is actually piled against the walls ($39+ up to $100’s) and the discount bins are a train wreck. A lot of what’s pictured for $12 was actually stacked against the wall priced much higher. BUT WHO KNOWS IF IT’S DAMAGED INSIDE. I’d rather buy something on Amazon so I can return it if it’s a dud or missing parts.
You can’t tell what you’re buying in the bins because they’re sealed in unlabeled Amazon boxes. Parts strewn everywhere. So the lowest common denominators and their unattended ill-behaved children shop by ripping open the boxes, throwing all the pieces all over the place, never to be found again. There’s a lady going behind them with a tape roll resealing the boxes but again, how to know if all the pieces are there let alone what’s in the box. It stinks to buy a sheet set and discover it’s missing a pillow case which is probably lost somewhere in a bin.
All in all, I’d skip this one. Save your...
Read moreGold Rush Deals Liquidation is an amazing place to score some awesome deals. Yes you have to dig, look through bins, and know how to scan items to get idea of whether its useful and or worth buying at the price listed for the day, but thats the fun part in my opinion. I've been their customer since grand opening and have had amazing experience shopping in the bins each and every time I've visited.
I've met the owners, I've met the cashiers, and the re-stocking employees and reading some of these reviews is absolutely unjustified. Both owners I've met are very welcoming, attentive, and kind, and there is no discrimination towards anyone that I've seen. Cashiers treat everyone equally as people approach them through formed lines, and if I had doubts about the number of items counted up, they gladly re counted my items.
This is a liquidation store and not necessarily a store that keeps stock of specific items, so I don't expect to be finding what I specifically come to find but instead I know I'll find something I may have been wanting to get but didn't due to overpriced prices at the retail store like pop sockets or chargers. I've been able to score pop sockets, chargers, storage containers for a $1 instead of $10-20.
Love this place! I'm a very happy customer and will come again and again because I know that there are deals to be scored.
As some reviews mentioned about messiness, I'll give some input about it too. The mess is unfortunately created by the frantic and deal hungry customers that rush through items, open boxes/packages, and empty the contents of those packages despite the big printed rules on a wall. There is a designated area to open the boxes which isn't being utilized because customers don't want to miss out on finding something valuable while spending time at a designated area. The management, in my opinion, is doing their best to keep the place neat and stocked. Let's not forget it's a bin store. An...
