Guadalajara Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Airport Drive

The food was delicious. The service needs some improvement. The restaurant hasn't been open very long, so we were trying to be very understanding. We got chips and salsa within just a few minutes of being seated at a table. However, it was almost 10 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order. Since we had had plenty of time to look at the menu, we went ahead and ordered our meals as well. We got our drinks a few minutes later, but then it was between 10-15 minutes before we got our meals. There were people that were seated after us, with a different server, that got their stuff before we did. When we finally got our food, it was delicious. But we were never asked if we needed anything else, or if we needed drink refills. We had to stop our server as she passed by us to get to-go containers and the check. When we got the slip back to sign, there was a 3% "convenience charge" for using a card instead of cash. The sign on the front door said there was a discount for using cash, when actually there is a charge for using your card to pay for your meal. Surprise!... I had a random urge for spicy food..but never would of imagined my delightful memory... .Very clean, prompt service with a genuine smile from both Host & Server ..Fajitas were the Sat.nite special...lol Dinner was delightful! .., excellent food, generous portions, great price BUT WAIT-just like the cartoon-"The Jetson's".maid, Rosie. GUADALAJARA Mexican Grill ...also has a special household robot ( I don't know her name) .,but shes about 4 ft tall, with a colorful flashing screen ,she sports 2 rows of cubbies which secure delicious hot masterpieces of food..so meanwhile ..while .I am devouring fresh chips and the best salsa ever.. I hear this little tune, thinking, nice touch, maybe someone's special celebration dinner. Oh no, flashing lights and sporting a little tune, this little Robot, directly and intentionally, rolled up to my table!. She.stopped & turned toward me.... She is fun, efficient & just being herself. with a cheerful voice cautioned re: sizzling hot plate' ...she readjusted her position closer and calmly waited for my nearby blushing Server..who proudly stepped up and presented my fresh sizzling plate.. 10 out of 10...

Used to love coming here we were regulars, ordered the Quesibirra meal and torta, husband came home and they gave us the quesibirra al a carta, one taco, I never asked for, called up to the restaurant to get it right was answered by a very rude lady who tried to say it was her who took my order when I know it was a male, she said she would give me two birras since I already got the one, and before I could say thank you she hung up on me, my husband went back up to get our order and she shoved our food in his face, I’m guessing she thought I was someone else and treated me like garbage because of it..literally been coming here for two years now, recommended this restaurant to all our friends and family and never have been treated like this, very...
