Stopped off at Jimmy John's in Airway heights we used to go to JJ's all the time before their owner got caught up in that whole shark molestation thing; but we we're really hungry didn't want fast food and didn't have time to wait on something from a sit down place. So we hit JJ's for a BLT and a JJ Gargantuan. Mine was fabulous as I remember, my wife's order was wrong though. She asked for light deli mustard and light mayonnaise but they missed the mark (no mustard). Still the service was friendly and the food and the sandwiches were good except that mustard thing; all together costing them a couple stars. Moral to this story and others should be taking notes. YOUR ONLY AS GOOD AS THE LAST PERSON THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU. Attention to detail is critical, especially when folks are already disenchanted due to COVID. Don't let the COVID rules destroy your effectiveness, customer service and general overall excellence. Your product may be tremendous, your customer service exemplary; but attention to detail--getting it right, completes the trifecta for the bill payer. Overall an average rating due to satisfaction. I got busy at work and ended up calling later than I wanted to, so the first thing I asked was if it was possible to get them in time for their lunch break. I said 11:40 was ideal, but 11:45 would work (their break is 11:45 - 12:15). He told me if I got the sandwiches without mayo (they’d send packets) they could definitely do it; even put me on hold to check w his manager. I thought that worked even better, so people could choose if they wanted to add mayo. I had an associate waiting at the door for the delivery by 11:38. At 11:50 I called to see if they were almost there. The employee who answered said “My driver got behind” They hadn’t even left yet!! I told him my team was now 1/3 through their break time…despite being five minutes away, it was over ten more minutes before they got there. More than halfway through my team’s 30 minute lunch break. We did a curbside pick up with the order in at 2:03 pm, no one brought our sandwiches out to us after waiting curbside. We went through drive through, they eventually handed us three out of four sandwiches. Literally all 3 sandwiches were wrong and the 4th one was missing entirely. Though 4 people were standing around stocking chips only one person worked freaky slow on our sandwiches. When we expressed that we were frustrated they told me how slammed they were (because everyone knows 2pm is a really busy lunch hour) while two people were still stocking chips and no one was in the store and one person in drive through. We received the correct sandwiches at 2:39 pm. 36 minutes? No attempt to make it right…An “I apologize, we messed up,” goes a really long way.
