I rarely give 5 stars (save those 5's for the ones that really wow me). Well this experience started out real bad. But I can't fault the location for the online issues that were really Corporates problems...
Trying to get order placed with Papa Murphys online was a nightmare. The site needs a real overhaul. In the end, It showed me what I'd ordered, asked me if it was right and I confirmed, then paid. All was good. It gave me a 30 min ready time.
Showed up at Papa Murphys near my Spokane home, (I was 2 min early) and the system had placed my order as a custom but plain cheese.
I told the lady at the register what I'd ordered and "that" quick my pizza was off to be corrected (not a wrinkle or a frown... just a smile and she was off with it).
That thing went from 1 person to the next, right on down the smoothest, most well oiled assembly line I've ever seen (I've seen many). They all seemed to read each other's minds without even looking really and they just flowed right til the lady at the end wrapped it in plastic wrap and handed it to me.
It was perfect and just like I'd ordered (1/2 Pepperoni and LG Pepperoni, 1/2 olives, green peppers and mushrooms) and I couldn't help saying "You guys are Awesome!" Never seen a crew work so perfect together. Like fingers on a hand they were.
I gotta admit (Coulda been still in awe, but, I think I was over it by then) but that pizza had magic...
Read moreAfter driving from my house which takes 20 minutes I realized that I forgot the coupon for 25% off. They are the coupons that literally everyone gets in the mail and there is an entire page of them, they are also necessary as the prices of these once "less expensive" pizzas have become more expensive than getting one delivered to your door cooked.
I didn't think it would be a problem, normally would not be.. I go inside to order and was going to get a couple family sized pizzas. I told the despondent worker and explained I forgot the coupon and the employee who looked barely old enough to even get a job told me that "I can't get the coupon deal because I could use it twice"...
Lol, what???
Turns out he was also the "manager". Didn't even try to help me. So forget it, these pizzas are not even nearly good enough to be as expensive as they are. Like you NEED the dumb coupons to be still overpriced.
So I said byeeeee and went basically next door to Mod Pizza, got 5 pizzas and yummy cheesy breadsticks for less money than I would pay for 2 pizzas here. And they are gasp cooked! And they are waaaaaay better.
Skip this dump with apathetic workers and mediocre pizza and go to Mod Pizza where they were nice and the food is...
Read moreSent my fiancĂ© here tonight after he got done working 2 jobs, all we ordered was cheese bread and a chicken bacon artichoke pizza. Needless to say, he told me the employees told him they were âoutâ of thin crust... which the pizza we ordered normally is on thin crust. I used to work in a pizza place, & thereâs no such thing as âbeing outâ of âthin crust.â When you make it out of the regular crust anyways? He also mentioned the girl making the pizza had a terrible attitude, which I could tell by the way my pizza was slapped together and the laziness of not wanting to thin the doe out & the spinach thrown on top. Which itâs never on top like it was. The pizza turned out awful! And we usually order this as a norm.. itâs never been so awful. If you canât have a good attitude and do your job right,...
