I've gotten delivery from the Brown St location and I'm now so close to the triplett location that I can walk. Which is great but also dangerous for me. My willpower works OT some days. The food is always delicious. I get steak and occasionally shrimp. I got both today and they were cooked perfect. Occasionally I've gotten overcooked noodles but it's rare and even then they're still pretty tasty. I don't order from them A TON but often enough, and I've never really experienced the issues other people have faced. Maybe from when they first opened and were still getting everything situated there, I don't know. But this is some of the best hibachi that I've had, especially for the price which is more than reasonable considering what I get when I order, portion wise. I hope Triplett is successful enough to stay open mainly because I'm kinda selfish and love...
Read moreOur first visit here, the food was excellent and the portions were huge. I was excited that it was so close to home. We ordered again within the week! The 2nd order was during a peak time of the day and the kitchen was very busy. Food tasted "rushed" but the portions were equivalent. The 3rd order was the most disappointing. I was starving and was looking forward to a huge heaping order of Hibachi. I tried to place the order online, but it kept saying this location was closed. Multiple attempts, all the same. I finally got it to work and was excited again. I picked up my order earlier than the suggested time, thankfully, or it would have sat for 8 more min. I get home and open my dinner, only to see half the portion I'm used to. I was no longer excited. Sad would be a more accurate description. Maybe it was an off day, but it was enough to keep me going somewhere...
Read moreWe have ordered there twice now and always get the double entrees. Steak & shrimp or chicken & shrimp. The employees are extremely nice and professional. The meals are well portioned as far as your meats, rice, noodles and veggies. You are NOT going to go hungry from eating here and you'll likely have enough leftovers for the next day. I usually avoid habachi because places like Wasabi and Hibachi Japan are very skimpy on portions and their meals are way overpriced. Hibachi Express tastes so much better, cheaper, and give enough portions to fill you up. ☆☆☆☆ ☆ To Hibachi Expess on Triplett Blvd. The Yum Yum sauce ❤, forget about it!! It tastes so good! Teriyaki is also another favorite flavor they use that I love. Their teriyaki noodles...
