I am disgusted with this "restaurant". The decor is beautiful. The service adequate (providing they understand what you want). I ordered 1/2 and 1/2 sweet tea. I was given tea with enough sugar to kill me (if I was diabetic any type). I tried to explain. NOPE. So I ordered water. The edamame aka:soy bean was fresh and delicious. Oh did you know that soy bean is a major crop here in Alabama and we can get it dirt cheap but it is sold for animal feed instead of in the stores.....hmnnnn. Then I asked for "Green Curry Shrimp". Somehow I got chicken with a cornstarch pepper flavored green gook on top. YUMMM. I told the wait person that I had ordered shrimp. She checked to make sure I was not a liar and then said "we can make more for you" I said no it was an honest mistake and I would choke the chicken down. I then came upon a disc of weirdness...I poked and it screamed...just kidding. I poked and it was soft. I had never had this in any Thai or Chinese food ever. I have been to other countries where a dog would not be allowed to eat this garbage. Hey it was a starchy over cooked potato....I know those....I do not eat them because of the exhorbitant amount of starch that my body does not require on top of rice. To top this wonderful disaster off I asked for a to go bag so that I could torture my family with the dibocle and was brought a chinese take out box that would hold about 10 oz of food. I politely asked for something to take my entire dinner home and she so sweetly said I will bring more boxes for you. I did not want to lose my mind or tongue at this point and begged my companions to allow me to leave the tip. NOPE so I paid for food I did not order, could not eat and was not allowed to take home unless I wanted to put it into 10 tiny boxes. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL BE FED POISONOUS DREGS AND KICKED IN THE TEETH AS YOU LEAVE. Oh I called later after I had calmed down and the woman refused to give me her name or the owners name. Then she told me and I quote "too bad you lose" then hung up on me. Nice. I only have one question- is picketing still allowed? Oh and since I'm boycotting Walmart where would I get the materials to make my sign? Ok two questions. Live in the light and you will not need a flashlight to guide yourself from...
Read moreThey have great access into their restaurant. The lights have a comfortable level of brightness. The person who was ready to take our order has a very welcoming smile, warm greeting, and maintained it to the very end. I ordered a two plate entree, but she apologized because it was going to take 8 mind before the mushroom chicken to be ready. I ordered the orange chicken and black pepper chicken instead. I went to locate seating and underneath of our sitting area was dirty. Food was all on the floor. I observed other areas as appearing likewise. They didn't appear busy but possibly before we arrived. Our food appeared beautiful and fresh. Unfortunately, my orange chicken was a bit too hard but all else was really good. The flavors in each dish was cooked well and the colors were vibrant. The look of the food was enjoyable to the eyes and palate. They are certainly worthy of people trying them out. We still enjoyed our food and moments spent at Panda House. Please go give them a try. They have an accessible seating area and if anyone has sensory challenges, I think it's a great place to try out during...
Read moreWe weren't impressed. We waited a long time today to have these meals only to be disappointed.Based on the super duper positive reviews I thought the food would be much better. The fried rice had 1 piece of egg, looked like brown rice and smelled like dogfood although kind of tasty in its own weird way. Eggrolls, although fried to crispy, brown perfection were only filled with cabbage and a small ball of prok and I couldn't finish eating it due to the foul taste like the grease needs to be changed out.Crab rangoon order barely had any filling in them.Special sesame chicken was decent and the black pepper chicken had way too many jalapeños slices/juice. We won't be back unless something changes. The quality and lack of proper quantity control of the food we experienced tonight from this take out order doesn't reflect the medium level price points and is wrong to overcharge customers for menu items that don't fulfill common expectations...
