5/2/13 Alabaster Alabama location. PARTY OF ONE NOT WELCOME!!! Entered my favorite "traveling" restaurant of 4+ years to be told a "party of one" was not allowed to sit at the bar in my usual spot. The same spot I have sat in 40+ times over the last few years. Was given a dis respectful bhy attitude by the teen age girl and her friend that butted in the conversation. Both telling me that part of the bar was reserved for parties of ten or more. (As if 5:45 pm on Thursday was going to bring a party of 10 in the door to a half full restaurant.) I was told "you must sit at a booth or a table, your not allowed to sit at the bar, If you want to talk to our manager about it you can". I kept my composure and my gentlemanly attitude and left the restaurant, hungry and thirsty. I didn't want to argue for my dinner, get my food spit in, or do business with (or tip) someone with such an uncooperative, un appreciative attitudes. I waited a couple days and called to speak with the manager. Once again a HORRIBLE customer service experience. A girl answered the phone, I asked for THE manager and was told you can speak with A manager. Girl: "who is calling and why"? Me: "I'd rather speak with the manager about that." Girl: "well then tell me your name". Me: "I'm Joe customer, asking to speak with the manager please" Girl: "what everrrr" (in a bihy teen accent). Manager answers, I question the phone screening process I was put through before being allowed to speak with a manager. Manager basically backs up the horrible way I was treated with not much of an apology, but offers that the "party of ten" is not a written rule, just one practiced by the owner of the particular establishment. After a few minutes of talking with her I expected her to apologize, ask me to come in for a beer on the house and sit where ever I wanted.. but that did not happen. We ended the conversation on as bad a note as it started. The BWW in Montgomery Al closed last year, obviously a financial issue, what other reason would a profitable chain restaurant close? HORRIBLE ATTITUDES AND / OR...
Read moreSuper disappointed in our Mother’s Day experience last night. All of us have been in the service industry that ate there last night.. first off we were sat at our table and you could tell our waiter was annoyed he even had to serve us. We order 6 drinks 3 sweet teas, 1 coke, kids lemonade, and a beer. We ended up getting 3 teas and a coke but got our food before the KIDS DRINK and beer came. They eventually brought a beer but it was the wrong one and never brought a kids lemonade. We had to order it from the bar which made it come in a huge glass that my kid had to drink out off we also made sure alcohol wasn’t in it because at this point who knew. While my husband was at the bar getting these drinks our server was up there and he told the girl behind the bar that was him after she told him he would have to get our server. The server said yes I am UNFORTUNATELY!! And that’s where this entire meal went south. He never would come to the table and he was just absolutely horrible. Again we’re all in the service industry but that’s unacceptable to say unfortunately you’re our server when we haven’t done anything. We had 2 interactions with him one when he got our drinks and when he refilled our 3 drinks with us sweet tea AFTER WE WERE DONE EATING. the fastest thing he did was bring us the check. Which I did not tip. (Usually we leave 10-25) no matter the service but we forgot how to tip unfortunately. We spoke to the manager about it she supposedly gave us a food credit, but my question is why would we want to come back? He saw us speaking to the manager and told her we didn’t tip. Well I already told her that and she agreed I shouldn’t tip someone who said it’s unfortunate to be our server when again we had done NOTHING for that to be said.
I do not recommended going to this place besides getting take out if you’re lucky to get your order correct that way. Our food was good but service was just less than a 1 star if I could put that on here I would.

Read moreMy mom and I came her with my daughters Thursday night around 4. Danielle W. was our server( I only know this because I looked on the check), She didn’t seem to happy to serve us. We ordered the nachos which we didn’t care for, so we kindly told her we didn’t care for them can we just get them taken off. Which the very unhappy manger came and got an attitude with my mom ( this should have been a hint we should have gone somewhere else). So after waiting a few minutes our order finally got taken. The food runners (I guess that’s who it was) brought us our food. We didn’t see the server again for another 20 minutes. I think the only time she got anything other then an attitude was when we ordered my daughter another order of chicken, but at this point the damaging attitude had already caused a problem. I like to add I’m a server I understand having a bad day or seeing a table and thinking they aren’t going to tip. I don’t know what she was feeling that day but I hope her day got better. Just be careful how you treat your tables. To the manger that night not everyone is sending food back to get a free meal. Like I said I’m a server I know it sucks when people don’t like the food but it happens. You never came back to do a table check or anything, you just kept walking by use and checking on tables around us. You are the face of the restaurant when you are there so also to you be careful how you...
