Captain D's — Restaurant in Alafaya

Update We have made it a point to go by every time I go by my mother-in-law's house. I cut grass every two weeks. Joy always takes care of us. I know Kat is out on leave. Food is great as always. It's always nice and hot. We sit inside all the time. I'm hoping to have it for my birthday in August. Thank you. (* Older reviews*I've been there three times within the last 4 weeks. The fish seasoning, I guess what's changed. It's not as salty as it used to be. The cashier was very friendly. I was amazed, because every time we went, we had a different cashier. The staff was awesome, they even brought the food to the table. You have to remember that this is a fast food restaurant. I judge the Stars by the way I feel I get treated. And believe me I've gone to very expensive restaurants. And they've been awful. I won't post those either. Because for some people spending more money, it means it's a better restaurant. I have lived in the neighborhood for many years and I was so excited to see this place come back. After the service I had on February 1,2020 I wont be going back. (I will upload the pictures of the receipts to prove my delay). I waited 15 min and asked for an update on my order the girl stated it wasn’t even on the screen and she assured me it would be out in a few min. 5 minutes later still nothing so I asked to talk to the manager he came out. He never once asked me what was wrong all he did was greet me. I stated I wanted a refund. All he said was Ok. He never asked what the problem was, he didn’t even check to see what was happening. I then proceeded to call the area director and ask him to give me a call. I even stated I knew it was the weekend but he could call me anytime during the week. After not hearing back on Tuesday I left another message, still to this date I have not gotten a call back. I don’t see who they can expect to stay in business if this is the kind of...

Decided to give this place another shot, after several years... I liked the 5.99 lunch special which brought me here. Unfortunately I'm not impressed at all.

The food was horrible, I hate to say this but this will be my last time coming.

The fish was so greasy, the taste overall was a negtive 0 without finishing the plate. My husband didn't even eat his plate he threw it away.

Great customer service and the sauces was great. Thats it. ... the prices for the sides are beyond high as well.

Wow one employee... I thought the drive thru would help me get in and out but no it took approximately 30 min to wait for my food. Oh and guess what? The food wasn't cooked all the way through. 😫 I want my money back! Can't believe this madness. How do you get uncooked grilled shrimp? No way you guys are...
