After traveling the whole world over in the past 35 years of my life, this is the ONLY McDonald's I've ever come across that has no freakin idea of how to make a Big Mac. Some McDonald's are slow, real slow, like the McDonald's in Apopka Florida. So slow I think they no longer qualify as a fast food place. Some McDonald's are fast, sooooo fast. Like the McDonald's at UCF in Orlando. If your order wasn't given correctly it's because they were trying to expedite and not leave you waiting in line..... and will gladly correct your order if they mess up with a smile. Some McDonald's have cold food. Some McDonald's over cook their food. I don't know how they warm up those breakfast burritos, but sometimes they overcook them so much that the tortilla is hard and nasty, but they don't care they serve it to you anyway. Some McDonald's can't figure out how to make thier food or how to satisfy their customers. Like this McDonald's here in Union Park. Everytime I come through the drive-thru my order is messed up but I don't complain I continue on my way, until.....grrr..... just the other day when I couldn't take it no longer I decided to go inside and get my food fixed. The manager here just completely ignored me as if I would go away, but she was wrong. Then she realized I wasn't going away and when I spoke she turned and rudely stated to me "I told you I would be with you in a minute", as if she was involved in something soooo important I was waisting her time. Really?!? Standing there waiting for the food line so you could bag the food is more important then turning around and helping a customer get their order fixed?!? Maybe, just maybe, this McDonalds needs to look at thier managers to see who is too incompetent to handle the job or may need more training. Prices for their food have gone up and the quality has gone down,..... .... I'm just not loving it. One thing is good here though. For the most part they warmly give you a smile when they hand your food order over to you....... .....wait....dag-nab-it..... am I reading that all wrong? Maybe they smile as they hand over the food because they know how badly the order was effed up. At any rate, I'll have to find another place to get my fast food because apparently this place is going...
Read moreI recently visited the Union Park location, which left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. I have been a longtime fan of McDonald's and recently had a positive experience when I purchased a McCrispy sandwich while traveling through Ocala. The sandwich was delicious, featuring an oversized patty and a soft, flavorful potato bun. The experience was so memorable that I found myself craving another.
However, my visit to the Union Park McDonald's to order the deluxe version of the McCrispy was far from satisfactory. I decided to upgrade the sandwich by paying a little more, expecting an enhanced dining experience. Unfortunately, what I received was far from what I anticipated. The chicken patty was significantly smaller than the bun being about the size of a large chicken nugget. The upgrade included two minuscule tomato slices, one the size of a nickel and the other the size of a quarter. Additionally, the sandwich was overloaded with an excessive amount of mayonnaise.
It was disheartening to see such discrepancies in the quality and presentation of the sandwich, especially when these flaws were apparent during assembly. The lack of attention to detail and the subpar ingredients used in the upgraded version were a stark contrast to the positive experience I had with the original McCrispy sandwich I purchased in Ocala.
As a loyal customer, I believe it is essential for McDonald's to uphold its standards of quality and consistency across all locations. While I understand that occasional mistakes can happen, it is crucial to address customer feedback and strive for improvement. The decline in food quality, coupled with increasing prices, raises concerns about the overall experience provided to customers.
I hope that my review serves as a constructive opportunity for McDonald's Union Park to reassess its food preparation processes and ensure that customers receive the high-quality meals they expect. I look forward to seeing improvements while maintaining my loyalty to the...
Read moreYou know how when you go to McDonald's, it's always a coin toss? Either your food will be fresh and nasty, or it will be cold and utterly disgusting. Either you'll get acceptable service, or you'll get terrible service. At this McDonald's, the food is literally never fresh. The employees and managers are also incompetent. Your order will be wrong half the time, and the managers will brush you off if you try to get it fixed. They act like it's not their problem. Well guess what.. it is your problem, and you should not treat me like I did something wrong when it's your incompetent employees that got the order wrong. Last time I went in, the girl at the register was having a conversation for about 5 minutes with her friend who was there as a guest. I let it slide for about a minute, and then I spent the next few minutes trying to get her attention, until her friend realized that someone was in line and moved out of the way. Maybe I could have been a bit more aggressive, but she kept looking at me when I gestured at her, and kept ignoring me. When I finally got my food, my hash browns were cold. Both managers were very rude and refused to replace them. This was the first time I had ever been denied replacement food at a McDonald's. Not that I do this all the time, but when a customer has a problem with their food, it's the restaurant's responsibility to resolve the problem. It's not just a courtesy; it's a responsibility. I am entitled to fresh food if I'm paying for it. If you choose to accept and eat your nasty cold fries, that's your decision, but you don't have to. That's why any good manager will replace your food for you, but be aware that that might not happen at this McDonald's. I was pretty angry, and was very close to donating my cold hash browns to the Ronald McDonald House box. Instead, I just ate them, and will be doing my body a favor and not eating...
