THIS HOTEL CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER. This hotel is absolutely amazing. And it is just a great place to stay. Honestly, it was definitely worth it and I will go over what I really enjoyed and what I think could have been done better and make sure to read all of it because there's a special message at the end just for you.
So I have been going to this hotel frequently. I would say, maybe once a month in 2021,2022, and 2023. I love the room layout and the kitchen is amazing. The TV is amazing. I love how there's a couch in each room and I love how you can pull it out.Because that's so special in my eyes, and I love how you have a vast tub with conditioner and champio, because that is special.
However, I did not really like the breakfast evolution of this hotel.
So I'll tell you a little bit about the breakfast and how it changed.
So in in 2021, when I came here for the first time, first, the waffles were amazing. They were so yummy and you could put waffle mixture in a waffle, iron and close it, and then you could eat your waffle. And the breakfast was so good and scrubbi duchess.
And I think it was around 2022, the breakfast changed, and my world flipped upside down. The waffles were not good, they were bleh. But I love that massive map of the entire world, because it really captured my attention and it really made my day better if you ask me.
Now let me tell you some stories I have about the workers. So one time my little child was walking in with a board game mind you that the places were on the board and they could easily fall, and of course, as you know, a little child is obviously gonna drop their toys and stuff like that.So my little child dropped the board game accidentally, and a nice generous worker came over and decided to help my little child. I have to thank her for being so sweet and going out of her way to help my kid. Thank you so much in shout out to that beautiful worker.Because I believe she has a amazing soul from heaven.
And one time I saw that you guys had written marriott the wrong way on the whiteboard. So I wanted to do you guys a favor and fix it. I think that was not very professional, but it's okay.Everyone makes mistakes and we are all still human, so you should not be embarrassed.
Okay, now let me tell you about the room. So I absolutely love. The room is amazing.I loved the t v, and the beds were pretty good.If you ask me. One time I did see a stain and a hair on my bed so.Next time, please make sure to really go over and see if you missed a spot because it can happen to all of us, okay.
But I just wanted you to know that you are an amazing person and you will go far in life. Don't let anyone bring you down because you deserve better. You are an amazing soul. I know that you will go far in life. Remember it's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up. The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need tomorrow. Happiness is the only thing that multiplies when you share it. The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.
I truly believe that you are beautiful. On the inside and outside and don't let any one tell you otherwise.
Imagine yourself ten years from now. Look how far you've come. Challenges you thought were mountains are now pebbles in your path. You overcame them, and each victory made you stronger, braver, more you.
See the smile on your face? It reflects the beautiful light within you. A light that warms the hearts of those around you. You are kind, you are compassionate, you are loved.
There will be stumbles along the way, but remember, you are worthy. You are capable of incredible things. Never lose sight of the amazing person you are and the amazing person you're becoming.
You MATTER. I mean it. You are important. You have a PURPOSE in this life. Remember that you...
Read moreI recently stayed here for 13 nights. First, I will talk about the property overall. This property feels older and this shows in the rooms, which are a bit dated. The room I was in had an area by the closet with a very unpleasant smell. I asked that this be looked at and they indicated they cleaned the carpets, but the smell remained and I didn't press the issue further. For a longer stay, it was good to have a laundry area and a full kitchen, which helped save on meals as I could cook my own.
Over the last week I was there, there was a lot of noise. Some of it came from being near their equipment room, which had a generator turn on between 5:45am and 6:45am several mornings. Other sources of noise were being right outside the parking lot so car alarms would go off sometimes as late as 3am. The fire alarm also went off one night at 9:30pm requiring an evacuation until the fire department arrived and cleared the building.
One thing that was really disappointing with the stay occurred in my second to last day. I am in a wheelchair and have a service dog who provides physical assistance to me. I was at the breakfast area looking at the offerings when the assistant manager (Jessica) approached me and told me that my service dog is not allowed in the breakfast here and that I could separate from my dog (She would hold my dog's leash outside of the breakfast area while I got food) or that she could get a plate for me. I informed her that per the ADA law that he is allowed to be in all public spaces (except for things like burn units in hospitals). There was some back and forth on it with Jessica saying that she thought dogs weren't allowed to be near food areas with me telling her respectfully that she was mistaken. I have to say that the fact that this was done in front of 4 other people who were eating their breakfast in the area was highly embarrassing. At this point and after the fire alarm going off at 9:30pm the night before and being woken up at 3am by the car alarm and then at 6am by the generator, I said I had lost my appetite and didn't bother with the breakfast for the last 2 days I was there. Jessica did approach me an hour later and indicated she had checked the law and was mistaken and she apologized. I appreciated the apology, but I'm quite surprised that a manager wouldn't be aware of the rules and wouldn't at least have the tact to have the conversation outside of an area occupied by others to avoid embarrassment.
As far as room wheelchair accessibility, there are some challenges. The beds are high (which was disclosed to me ahead of time and I appreciate that) and the soap/shampoo etc are out of reach of most people in wheelchairs. The initial room I was given didn't have enough room to navigate a wheelchair through the kitchen area as it was up against a wall, but Jessica moved me to room where the kitchen was mostly accessible (except for the kitchen sink which required an adaptive device to reach the faucet), which I...
Read moreMy husband and I have spent the last 10 weeks at this hotel because my husband got relocated for work. During our time at the hotel, we really felt the staff made our visit feel like we were at our home, away from home. The employees are very friendly and always welcomed us, including our puppy, no matter how many times we walk in or out of the lobby each day. Though the staff overall is superb, there were a few employees who went above and beyond during our stay and I’d like to highlight who they were. ||||Jessica - Works greeting guests at the front desk in the lobby. Jessica was by far the most lovely employee. She was always so joyful and kind to us! Each night she would bake cookies for the guests, and as time went on, she knew my husband and I absolutely loved her hot and freshly baked cookies. So, she took the initiative upon herself to call our room (on occasion) and let us know she just took some hot cookies out of the oven, and even offered to bring them to our room. She was very personable, selfless, and kind! ||||Lisabeth - She serviced and cleaned our room each day. She too was always so friendly, especially to our puppy. There were times I wouldn’t be in the room when she would service it, but I never worried about leaving my dog alone with her. Rather, it seemed that the more time they spent together the more our dog loved seeing her each day. She is a very hard worker and always has a smile on her face. It was such a pleasure getting to see her each day. ||||Roselyn and Maye - Both of these ladies worked in housekeeping as well and went above and beyond in their work. Not only cleaning our room with such detail, but also their exuberant personalities always brightened my day. ||||Pablo- Though his title is chief engineer at the hotel, Pablo helped serve me in many ways. One incident that really stood out to me was when I was doing laundry, he noticed me struggling to carry my basket. So, he carried it for me all the way up to room. He is always the first one to jump in and help where help is needed. ||||Lastly, Cristyl-Lin, the manager of the hotel. During my stay, there were many things I needed help with and she too would go above and beyond to serve me and my family. If she didn’t have the answer immediately, she would always call back and follow up. It is evident that her staff if so joy-filled because of how she leads her team. Excellent job on Marriott’s behalf in hiring such an exceptional manager. ||||While I am excited to finally be going back home, I will surely miss the people at this hotel. My husband and I really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during...
