Weekends Tavern — Restaurant in Alamosa

This was the third time I've attended this establishment. Once 3 years ago for a New Years Eve Celebration with some local friends, once to pop in for a beer on a hot day, and last night to go dancing with a friend. Not only am I pretty sure someone intentionally took my key off of my purse keyring to the Hotel I'm staying at in town( I know they have it because I called last night and they said they had it, how off of my caribeaner I DO NOT KNOW) They also had 6 officers come in with gloves and basically search and ceasure(Sp?) the place without announcing why and strongly made me feel for my safety. My father is a retired officer and I'm sure this was highly illegal, if not frowned upon. There was also a female on the way out who fell over from the barstool unresponsive, and hit her head, but the bartender didn't think this was an issue. She was alive, but her boyfriend was apparently qualified to deal with this... NOT!!! With 6 officers just in there from different precincts I would think that he would have called that in. Personally, I don't even feel safe to go back to get my key, and they better pray they do not use it as it is a small tourist town and I have reported this to the owner of the establishment I am staying at already. Wanted to share a positive review solely because the owner comments to some of the insane negative reviews was comedic gold. Glad I found this place. Looking forward to enjoying soon. I'm a newish local and have been looking for a place that the PC parade does not frequent. We came here for the first time to watch the last Bronco game for the season. I was very impressed by the space and the fact that they had food for lunch. We chowed down on Fried Mushrooms, Jalepeno Poppers and Cheeseburgers. I forgot to mentioned that I upgraded to the Beer Battered Fries.. Boy I was not disappointed. They have bottled water for purchase at a reasonable low price. The bartender was awesome and mentioned that when the Broncos play and score a touchdown that they do a free round of a particular shot. The atmosphere was very pleasant for this afternoon game.
