Flying Dutchman European Pastry Shop — Restaurant in Alaska

I had an eye exam at eye mart first thing in the morning and then placed an order for my glasses to be fixed. Unable to see well without my glasses, I did not want to drive anyway. It was pretty early in the mornings but the Flying Dutchman was open at 6am!!! I got this reindeer Sausage Croissant, it had reindeer sausage inside cheese croissant. The croissant was so buttery the whole thing was so delicious I ate it way too quickly I wish I would’ve bought two! I also bought a chocolate bat, I’m so used to artificial chocolate that I forgot what natural chocolate taste like, it tasted so amazing it wasn’t overly sweet it wasn’t too bitter it was really yummy. Watch Out!!!*The owner lacks professionalism to say the least. I placed an order for a cake and was sure to be VERY specific with directions as to what I wanted. Needless to say, the cake was NOT what I asked for. When I called Frieda (the owner) to ask for a small discount - not even to re make the cake! - she was extremely rude and in a very condescending tone replied, “I’m sorry it isn’t just ‘perfect’! I don’t know what you expect me to do!”. Well, when I place a specific order and I’m paying $50 for a cake - yes, I expect the directions I gave to be taken seriously and not just for consideration. The food was aweful. I could tell my cookie was days old. It was stale. Nothing in there was really European, at least not any European country I’ve been to. They sell cup cakes that look like black forrest cake and when I asked the clerk kept cutting me off and shouting raspberry. They have something called Dubai bites. I didn’t realize Dubai was in Europe. Even if you have never been to Europe you will hate it here, I wouldn’t feed this cookie to a dog and I just paid 4 dollars for it.
