Kaladi Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Alaska

Okay, this used to be my favorite coffee shop for years. Not anymore, in fact, I don't think I'll be coming back. We left Alaska for several years and just recently returned, and I was dreaming about my latte and a pastry...I gave this location five tries since we came back (in the summer 23) and every time thought that maybe it was just an off day for them...trying not to make judgements. Went in today and got disappointed once again: service is bad, baristas and cashiers forget order details, fumble with packaging 2) pastries are horrible...like, why are the sconces ALWAYS wet?? 3) drinks are bad, today's matcha was way too sweet and lukewarm.

The space is still very cute though, so it really is a shame. I suggest providing baristas with a proper amount of and quality training AND finding a different...

I was there 5-20-25 about 8:58 am. As soon as it's my turn to order the now bleach blonde turns away from me and makes a phone call. Does not say excuse me. Or I'll be right with you. Nothing.

When she gets off the phone she apologizes but I say no thank you. I will take my business elsewhere.

I put the timestamp for any owner or manager who cares enough to look at the camera.

It personally doesn't matter as I won't be back. However others will care and will not go back plus take the video I have of the encounter and plaster it all over the net

COVID has this place set up with 4 tables (while I was there, 1 of the tables was occupied by the store manager).

Internet is fast and staff is incredibly friendly. One of the gals essentially remembers all her regulars by name and that's impressive to me!
