Heavenly Cup — Restaurant in Alaska

I’ve had mixed results here. Sometimes the espresso is very good - never great, I suspect an off brand roaster - and sometimes it is merely better than terrible. Baristas can be alternatively very friendly, or very cold and almost annoyed that you showed up. Sometimes the drinks are pretty good, and other times, like today, you get a latte with no foam at all. Overall, it’s like a different coffee shop every time I go. One day it’s a two star with rough espresso and a poorly made drink by a disinterested barista, the next it’s a really good cup and a friendly barista.

I’d like to move this rating up, because I hate to hurt them on their good days, but I suspect that management needs to invest a little bit more into training both in customer service and...

Terrible customer service, I asked if they had a syrup flavor called "espresso".. and the snotty blonde women told me in the most unpleasant tone "No, because we have REAL espresso!" ... and after all that she drama, she made me the wrong drink anyways, didn't realize a mocha had pumpkin spice in it... weird... I don't pay 6 dollars for a cup of coffee to be given attitude... so um no thanks, it was just a question, a simple "no" would have sufficed. There are many coffee shops around town save yourself some unpleasantness and go to Cafe Loco Espresso passed 88th (walgreens parking lot) or Caffe D'arte Alaska right passed 68th. Wherever you go, don't go here... its anything...

My husband and I ordered our drinks, I confirmed my drink twice. I have food, allergies. They did not make my drink properly. I had an allergic reaction (blue Lotus is the only Lotus that doesn’t contain apples, peaches or cherries)

My husband’s drink wasn’t overwhelmingly fantastic, the coffee was burnt.

The service wasn’t fantastic, but we weren’t expecting fantastic as it was the end of the day, but we were excited to have our drinks and left a four dollar tip.

We will not be returning.
