My husband and I love this place! Everything about it is friendly, open, and unique! The smell of sweet treats as you walk on the board walk are intoxicating. When you get inside there is fresh made popcorn that greets you along with the symphony of aroma of all the different varieties. As you continue the decor is very Denali and gives the feeling of being in a cabin. The fudge and case of sweet treats you can’t pass up. And on those hot hot days the varieties of ice cream is great and the local Alaskan flavor fireweed and honey is my favorite! Before you go don’t forget to grab a fireweed lemonade when you can. I can't say enough good things about this place. You're hit with awesome smells as soon as you walk through the door. We decided to go with the ice cream. There are several other options including pop corn and fudge. We got the Moose tracks and Gold Dredge-I believe that is right. Well they were both awesome. We were in Denali 3 days and we ended up there 3 times. Partly because we loved the ice cream but also because the owner was a guy that clearly had customer service as number one. I was craving pizza so I was extremely skeptical when my search turned up a popcorn place labeled as an ice cream shop. But I am SO glad they were open and that we gave it a shot. The pizza, ice cream, and popcorn were all both tasty and reasonably priced. On top of that, the staff/owners were so friendly and lovely to chat with. We had a really nice time just chatting while they fresh made food for us. We were lucky that they had so many fireweed and birch things left, as we really wanted to try them.
