Umm, so I’m very confused right now. First off, I LOVE Raising Cane’s, my whole family know that. But I was eating just now, and I looked at my chicken, and saw clearness? I was so shook and dug into it, splitting the tender, and there was a whole clear, silicone like, material inside my chicken!! Like as if it was the center of it. Never, EVER seen this before, and I’m a pretty frequent Cane’s fan. So I still don’t know what to think.. I’m super grossed out right now, and only hope I didn’t ingest whatever the clear, gel like stuff was.. I’m not gonna go here to eat anymore sadly. I’n trying to figure out what this is. When I say that it feels unnatural, I mean it.

I just wanted something simple and quick, I visited Cane's throughout the lower 48 so I do have an expectation for it to be similar to what I've had before. I thought the chicken and fries could have been placed differently in the box It looks like it was just thrown in and I wish it was non styrofoam products. I think there could have been a little bit more fries, but all in all the service to the drive-thru was great. I like it's a simple menu and I know what to expect so that's why I come here.

The food is delicious, and the person who takes the orders in the drive thru seems a bit pushy. I ordered a gallon of UNSWEETENED iced tea. I repeated it multiple times. I even stated “No sugar”. She said “ok”. I get home and want to enjoy my drink and it’s full of sugar! I can’t have that. The unsweetened iced tea is the best around in terms of fast food. But I can’t enjoy it when the employees don’t pay attention. I wasted $7.50. Literally - I had to pour it down the drain.

The quality and quantity disappoint for the price charged. There are no side options. You receive the standard toast, fries and coleslaw regardless of what you order. The chicken strips themselves are smaller than strips from other restaurants and even the grocery store. The prices were higher when they first opened, but after push back they dropped them slightly. Another location is being built by Dimond Center. Honestly there are many other local options nearby these restaurants for actually decent chicken strips and at a more reasonable price. (Check out OMG Burritos chicken strip options, drive through at the corner Shell station.)

Not sure what the hype is about. You can get far superior sweet tea, chicken strips and sides at many other places in town for a better price. They initially price gouged until the public pushed back and forced them to change their prices, but by then the damage had already been done. Side options are nonexistent and overall the offerings are disappointing. A second location is being erected by the Dimond Center, assuredly to capture the Dimond traffic and business market.

Disappointing for the price point with restricted options. Take your money over to a local...

Raising Cane’s makes some of my favorite chicken on the planet but this particular location is incredibly inconsistent with their quality of food and service. I frequent this restaurant once a week because it’s ritual for me at this point and they have the best chicken in town but it’s always a gamble I don’t look forward to. Today for example I couldn’t hear the person taking the order in the drive thru (not normal) and had to repeat my order several times to them and they still got it incorrect at the window. The person handing my food to me was quick to point out that they weren’t the one to take my order and that the extra sauce wasn’t on the order… no kidding, if only I could’ve heard any of you speaking through your masks… then charged me the $.50 for the sauce, which is fair since I wanted it but the incredulous attitude from the employee and apparent inconvenience for having any quality control upheld was offensive to them… I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before but this is my favorite place and I hate that it’s a bad experience 2 out of 5 times each month. But hey every now and their screwups mean I get an extra chicken...

I've been seeing a bunch of complaints here but I couldn't be happier that Cane's is finally in Alaska. As a South Louisianian I'm super jazzed to have a local favorite up in the great north. Sure, it's fast food quality, but I think it's bomb. Crinkle cuts are just what they do, don't bash them because you think "crinkle cuts are low brow" or something. I personally love them. Not enough fries for you? Go no toast, extra fries. Or no slaw extra fries on what you get. Too much ice? Ask for light ice. Don't like the sauce? Lots of people don't, idk don't use it, I'm pretty sure honey mustard is also an option (at least it is where I'm from). Sure prices are a bit much, but that's just Alaska for you. Lemme tell you, I'd rather spend $12 at Cane's than literally just about any other fast food joint around. 10/10. Definitely going back. Staff and food were both 100% what I've come to expect from this chain as a business. Thanks for...
